Choosing the right financial advisor is one of the most important decisions you can make for your future. Many individuals find themselves dissatisfied with their current portfolio due to underperformance, misaligned investment strategy, or a potential lack of communication with their current financial advisor team. If this sounds familiar to you—or if you know someone in the same circumstance—our second opinion service might be a great option. This service is designed in an effort to offer prospective clients with new financial ideas and strategies that align with their financial needs—whether you stay the course or explore new options.

Here’s How It Works:

1. First meeting will include:
a) Assessment of where you are now
b) Determination of where you want to be
c) Identification of any gaps or voids

2. After careful analysis, we’ll provide you with three possible outcomes:
a) You are on track – keep doing what you are doing.
b) You have gaps and voids and we can help solve them – you can become a client of ours
c) You have some gaps but we are not the right fit. We will suggest advisors that aligns with your financial future.

12Investors should consider many factors before deciding which 529 plan is appropriate. Some of these factors include: the Plan’s investment options and the historical investment performance of these options, the Plan’s flexibility and features, the reputation and expertise of the Plan’s investment manager, Plan contribution limits and the federal and state tax benefits associated with an investment in the Plan. Some states, for example, offer favorable tax treatment and other benefits to their residents only if they invest in the state’s own Qualified Tuition Program. Investors should determine their home state’s tax treatment of 529 plans when considering whether to choose an in-state or out-of-state plan. Investors should consult with their tax or legal advisor before investing in any 529 Plan or contact their state tax division for more information. Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC does not provide tax and/or legal advice. Investors should review a Program Disclosure Statement, which contains more information on investment options, risk factors, fees and expenses and possible tax consequences.
