Bay Area Wealth Management is comprised of four financial advisors, and two client service associates who lead, manage and advise clients at Morgan Stanley. Bay Area Wealth Management delivers on its goal of helping successful individuals and families develop and implement a wealth management plan in order to reach their financial dreams for today, tomorrow, and well into the future. As a whole, the team has over a century of combined experience in financial services and wealth management. At Bay Area Wealth Management, our passion is helping you achieve important financial goals, which begins with a comprehensive wealth strategy. Our goal is to act in each client's best interests while defining what is most important to you, and then formulating the strategies that are suited for your needs, whether you are accumulating wealth or investing for income, solidifying your retirement plan or devising a distribution approach that meets your lifestyle and legacy goals.  We accomplish this by forming a transparent partnership with you and our team, while providing the highest-quality service and guidance. Additionally, we have developed a unique 5-step process for working with clients in order to meet their goals and objectives in areas such as portfolio management, advanced estate planning, asset protection, cash flow planning, and charitable giving. At Bay Area Wealth Management, our investment process begins with a thorough understanding of each client's objectives, resources, risk tolerance, and time frame. As a wealth-management team, we provide clients with advice beyond portfolio management. Our proprietary five-step consultative process enables us to thoroughly understand our client's values, goals, and issues. We have created a differentiated approach which focuses on three key components.
  

Portfolio Management 
Instead of outsourcing to index funds or money managers, we have retained our own internal money manager to create a customized, risk-avert managed portfolio to match each specific client's needs. Our very own fixed income specialist has over 30+ years of bond buying experience.

Our proprietary client discovery process enables us to deeply understand who our clients are, and what is important to them. By fostering long-term relationships, we focus on creating wealth-management strategies that are responsive to evolving market conditions and changes in our client's lives. We map your goals and responses in a "mind map", which we call the Total Client Profile. Each map is then added to the client Family Wealth Plan, which articulates your extensive background.

        About Me

        Morgan C. Becker, CIMA®

        Morgan Becker is a Family Wealth Director, Senior Vice President, Senior Portfolio Manager, and Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley.  He leads the Bay Area Wealth Management Team, and is a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA). 
         

        Morgan graduated from Santa Clara University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Economics.  He earned his Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation in 2001 and Certified Wealth Strategist (CWS) in 2004.  In 2015, Morgan earned the Family Wealth Director title which is awarded to the top 2% of Financial Advisors at Morgan Stanley. He has been named one of the Top 100 Branch Managers by On Wall Street Magazine, earned the Morgan Stanley Manager’s Leadership award twice, and has earned the prestigious Five Star Wealth Manager award in the San Francisco East Bay in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016.

        William E. Bicker, Jr
         With over 30+ years of experience as a Financial Advisor specializing in bonds and fixed income, Bill believes that achieving important financial goals begins with a comprehensive wealth strategy.  Mr. Bicker helps to define what is most important to you and then formulate the strategies that are suited for your needs, whether you are accumulating wealth or investing for income, solidifying your retirement plan or devising a distribution approach that meets your lifestyle and legacy goals.         Cathy Zaeni is a Financial Advisor and Portfolio Manager and joined Morgan Stanley's Global Wealth Management division with over 20 years of experience in the industry. As a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley, Cathy’s mission is to provide an exceptional level of service to her clients, which focuses on wealth and investment management strategies and services for high-net-worth clients, entrepreneurs, senior professionals, and businesses. These services are complemented with attentive client service and access to the extensive resources, broad network and global reach of Morgan Stanley. In addition, Cathy values and nurtures her client's financial goals of building, managing, and preserving wealth.
