We believe that identifying financial solutions begins with a solid understanding of your situation, goals, objectives and risk tolerance. We follow a disciplined process that enables us to craft solutions that help meet your individual financial needs:

Staying on track while defining and pursuing your goals is an ongoing process—not a static event. Once you’ve put your strategy into action, it’s essential to review it continually, assessing your portfolio performance, asset allocation and cash-flow activities so that you’ll have the money you need to achieve your goals. For that reason, we will monitor your progress and, if your circumstances change or your strategy is off track, we will suggest appropriate modifications to keep you moving toward your goals.
When you become our client, you become part of our family
We meet you where you are in your life.
Our team wants to help each generation of your family with what they need today and what they might need tomorrow. We may take you by the hand and guide you with compassion through the loss of a spouse or a parent or the complications of a divorce. In short, it means we are always here for you with financial strategies and compassionate support.

11Investors should consider many factors before deciding which 529 plan is appropriate. Some of these factors include: the Plan’s investment options and the historical investment performance of these options, the Plan’s flexibility and features, the reputation and expertise of the Plan’s investment manager, Plan contribution limits and the federal and state tax benefits associated with an investment in the Plan. Some states, for example, offer favorable tax treatment and other benefits to their residents only if they invest in the state’s own Qualified Tuition Program. Investors should determine their home state’s tax treatment of 529 plans when considering whether to choose an in-state or out-of-state plan. Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC does not provide tax and/or legal advice. Investors should consult with their tax or legal advisor before investing in any 529 Plan or contact their state tax division for more information. Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC does not provide tax and/or legal advice. Investors should review a Program Disclosure Statement, which contains more information on investment options, risk factors, fees and expenses and possible tax consequences.
