We are not only well-versed in the broader wealth planning needs of offshore investors, we also speak your language, share your culture and understand the market and regulatory climate of your country. Most of our clients make their homes in Argentina, Chile, Uruguay and Mexico, though we also serve select clients elsewhere in Latin America and Europe.       About Me

      Michele Landa-Brooker has built her career working with many of the leading wealth-generating families in Latin America. Michele’s focus is global risk management through asset allocation. She also works closely with her clients’ tax advisors to help maximize portfolio efficiency and ease the transition of wealth from generation to generation.  

      Michele is a 30-year veteran of the financial services industry whose tenure at Morgan Stanley dates from 2003. This experience allows the team’s clients to access the market’s best resources and ideas for their family wealth management.  Her foremost talent is bridging the distance between local markets and New York, and making sure our clients are able to take full advantage of everything Morgan Stanley offers.

      A native New Yorker, Michele conducts all aspects of business in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and Italian.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts from New York University and a Master in Business Administration from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird).

      About Me

      Drawing on over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, Andres Rubinstein is a seasoned portfolio manager who focuses exclusively on international clients. Andres began his career at Bankers Trust in the Global Asset Management Group, concentrating on the consultant market and the Chilean private pension system.

      Andrés became a portfolio manager in 1992 at the Bank of New York, where he managed both discretionary and nondiscretionary mandates for high net worth families before joining Morgan Stanley in 2005.  His experience and familiarity with the markets help the team’s clients navigate the firm’s research recommendations and open architecture product line. He is a designated International Client Advisor, and, as such, is authorized to regularly interact with other divisions such as the Investment Bank and Capital Markets desks.  

      Andres was born in Santiago, Chile, and moved to the U.S. at the age of 16. He graduated from Brandeis University with a B.A. in Economics, and Fordham University, where he received an MBA in Finance.

      About Me

      Daniel Ehrlich works with some of the most important families in Latin America, helping them to create customized investment strategies and wealth management plans to meet their financial goals. 
      Born and raised in Uruguay, Daniel received his Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the Udelar School of Business. After working in strategic business management at The Coca-Cola Company and a consulting internship at Deloitte, he began his career in financial services at Lloyds Bank TSB, in Uruguay.
      Daniel first came to the United States from Uruguay to pursue his MBA from the Leonard Stern School of Business at New York University. He graduated with a specialization in Financial Instruments and Markets, Leadership & Management. He worked at Goldman Sachs in the Private Wealth Management Division prior to joining Credit Suisse in New York.  There, he became the best-performing MBA advisor of the decade, focused on Latin American clients.

      About Me

      Tate DeStefano has over 19 years of experience in wealth management, most recently working as a Complex Business Development Manager. After helping to turn her New York office into Morgan Stanley’s largest and most successful complex, Tate was recruited to join The Patagonia Group in 2017 to focus on team growth and client acquisition in the Latin American markets.
      Tate first joined Morgan Stanley in May 2010 as National Development Officer for the Financial Advisor Associate program. She began her career in financial services in 1998 at UBS PaineWebber in capital markets research sales, specializing in equities in the Energy and Technology sectors. During her time at UBS, Tate also held the role of sales manager and Financial Advisor in Private Wealth Management.  
      An alumna of Phillips Exeter Academy, Tate graduated from Wesleyan University, with a double major in Russian and International Government studies. In 2012, she completed Fordham University’s Executive MBA. Tate speaks Spanish, Russian and Italian.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, she worked as a portfolio and investment manager at a wealth management boutique funded by a team of former Merrill Lynch financial advisors. Prior to that, Jacqueline spent nearly 15 years at Merrill Lynch in the bank’s Global Markets division where she was a Director on the Emerging Markets Sales and Trading desk trading and managing fixed income products.

      Jacqueline holds a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidad Metropolitana in Caracas and a Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from Columbia University in New York City. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese and conversational French.
