We serve a clientele of successful business owners, executives and their families, helping them create, implement and maintain highly customized offshore investment accounts.

Most of our clients make their homes in Argentina, Chile, Uruguay and Mexico, though we also serve select clients elsewhere in Latin America and Europe. They tend to face relatively complex financial challenges, driven both by the shifting regulatory and market climates in their home countries and by the nature of the significant wealth they have created. Serving as their dedicated advisors in the United States, our goal is to help our clients address their financial challenges, protect the wealth that they have created and transfer it efficiently to future generations of their families.

Alternative Investments are speculative and include a high degree of risk. An investor could lose all or a substantial amount of his/her investment. Alternative investments are suitable only for qualified, long-term investors who are willing to forgo liquidity and put capital at risk for an indefinite period of time.

Investing in commodities entails significant risks. The commodities markets may fluctuate widely based on a variety of factors including changes in supply and demand relationships; governmental programs and policies; national and international political and economic events; war and terrorist events; changes in interest and exchange rates; trading activities in commodities and related contracts; pestilence; weather; technological change; and, the price volatility of a commodity. In addition, the commodities markets are subject to temporary distortions or other disruptions due to various factors, including lack of liquidity, participation of speculators and government intervention.

Fixed Income investing entails credit risks and interest rate risks. When interest rates rise, bond prices generally fall.

Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC (“Morgan Stanley”), its affiliates and Morgan Stanley Financial Advisors and Private Wealth Advisors do not provide tax or legal advice. Clients should consult their tax advisor for matters involving taxation and tax planning and their attorney for matters involving trust and estate planning and other legal matters.

Morgan Stanley offers a wide array of brokerage and advisory services to its clients, each of which may create a different type of relationship with different obligations to you. Please consult with your Financial Advisor to understand these differences.

GlobalCurrency deposits are held at Morgan Stanley Private Bank, National Association ("MSPBNA"), Member FDIC. Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC and MSPBNA are affiliates. Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC is a registered broker-dealer, not a bank. Unless specifically disclosed in writing, other investments and services offered through Morgan Stanley Smith Barney are not insured by the FDIC, are not deposits or other obligations of, or guaranteed by, a bank and involve investment risks, including possible loss of principal amount invested. 10Morgan Stanley’s investment advisory programs may require a minimum asset level and, depending on your specific investment objectives and financial position, may not be suitable for you. Please see the Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC program disclosure brochure (the “Morgan Stanley ADV”) for more information in the investment advisory programs available. The Morgan Stanley ADV is available at www.morganstanley.com/ADV.

Structured Investments are complex and not suitable for all investors, and there is no assurance that a strategy of using structured product for wealth preservation, yield enhancement, and/or interest rate risk hedging will meet its objectives.

Participating in a new issue/syndicate is subject to availability and suitability. IPOs are highly speculative and may not be suitable for all investors because they lack a stock-trading history and usually involve smaller and newer companies that tend to have limited operating histories, less-experienced management teams, and fewer products or customers. Also, the offering price of an IPO reflects a negotiated estimate as to the value of the company, which may bear little relationship to the trading price of the securities, and it is not uncommon for the closing price of the shares shortly after the IPO to be well above or below the offering price.
