About Mason Champion
He oversees a practice serving more than a thousand families worldwide, guiding clients through complex tax considerations, multigenerational wealth planning, and philanthropic strategy. His mission is simple but ambitious: to help clients make informed decisions that can create lasting impact for their families and for the causes they care about most.
While many advisory teams focus primarily on markets and returns, Mason begins somewhere deeper. Every relationship starts with understanding a client’s values, priorities, and long-term vision. From there, he designs highly customized financial plans grounded in disciplined investment management. Clients are drawn to his steady perspective, thoughtful counsel, and ability to navigate both opportunity and risk with clarity and composure.
Mason’s appreciation for wealth is shaped by personal experience. Raised in a hardworking family, he learned early the value of discipline, integrity, and perseverance. Those principles guided him through college and into a career that began humbly running errands and supporting senior advisors at Credit Suisse First Boston. Through hard work and determination, he rose to help build and grow a multibillion-dollar advisory practice. Having experienced both financial constraint and financial abundance, Mason brings empathy and perspective to every client conversation.
Mason is deeply committed to education, mentorship, and expanding financial literacy—particularly within collegiate athletic programs and underserved communities.
A former PGA Head Golf Coach at The Boys’ Latin School of Maryland, Mason continues to blend his passion for sports with leadership and mentorship. He has been active in numerous professional and community organizations, including serving on advisory boards and committees within the NFLPA and Morgan Stanley, as well as the Baltimore Country Club Board of Governors.
Mason lives in Hunt Valley, Maryland, with his family. Outside of work, he remains passionate about coaching, teaching, and helping others build meaningful, enduring legacies.

About John Magiros
John’s interest in personal wealth management began at the University of Maryland where he graduated with dual degrees in Economics and Psychology in 2005. These areas of study allowed him to find the link between the personalized lens through which people view the world and the resulting financial decisions people make. This connection motivated John to continue to strengthen his acumen in helping people uncover their true decision drivers, and led to the pursuit of his Financial Advisor role. Over his 12 year tenure in the wealth management field, John has developed a specialized service model and philosophy to successfully address his client’s needs. The foundation of this model is based on a client-first-always mentality and minimizing the unknown to develop more predictable outcomes.
In pursuit of his passion for helping responsible businesses, John serves on advisory boards of emerging companies as well as providing informal guidance on the topics of growth, gathering resources, and strategic planning. He also co-founded the non-profit Volunteering Untapped ™ in 2013 to lower the barrier to civic engagement for millennials in US cities, create real impact, and find friendship amongst their community.
John lives in Cockeysville, MD with his wife Kristen, daughter Andi, and 2 dogs Kevin! and Fern. When he’s not in the office, John enjoys spending time with his family, playing the drums, and rooting for the University of Maryland’s basketball team.
