About Douglas M. Jarrard

Doug Jarrard focuses on investment research, portfolio management and portfolio construction. He is responsible for developing and implementing investment policy for the Three Oaks team of advisors.
Doug earned the Chartered Financial Analyst™ (CFA®) designation in 2003. He is a member of the CFA® Institute and the Orlando CFA® Society. In 2010, he earned the Senior Institutional Consultant designation with Morgan Stanley’s Consulting Group, and, in 2016, the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA®) designation. Additionally, Doug is a member of the Miami chapter of the CAIA® Association and serves on the board of directors of the Portfolio Management Institute.
Doug graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering and material science. He was commissioned as an officer in the United States Navy, where he served on the USS Seawolf nuclear attack submarine. In 1999, after his time in the Navy, he began his career at Morgan Stanley. Doug lives in Lake Mary, Florida and is an avid Crossfitter who enjoys many outdoor activities, including golf, hiking, boating and running. He currently serves on the board of the Jim and Carol Trawick Foundation and supports many charitable organizations in the Washington, D.C. and Florida area.

Ryan Bowman focuses on wealth-transfer strategies and corporate retirement plans. Throughout his career, Ryan has worked tirelessly to provide clients with the utmost personal care and attention. He carefully and thoughtfully listens to his clients to help them create financial-planning strategies specifically tailored to their objectives. Knowing that the markets move quickly and are constantly changing, he focuses on long-term strategic solutions and meeting the complex financial needs of families and business organizations.
Ryan joined the Morgan Stanley team in 2001 and was previously a Financial Services Advisor with Prudential Financial. He has been named to Morgan Stanley’s prestigious President’s Club – an elite group composed of the firm's top Financial Advisors – since 2015. Most recently, Ryan was named one of Barron’s Magazine Top National 1200 Financial Advisors in 2023. This appointment recognizes Ryan’s excellence in providing a wide range of investment products and wealth-management services to his clients. Ryan graduated from McDaniel College with a degree in communications.
In his free time, Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife, Katie and their four children: Mackenzie, Clayton, Bailey and Jonathan. Together they enjoy hiking, golf, fly fishing and the great outdoors. Ryan is a member of Baltimore Country Club, Pikewood National Golf Club, and Jackson Hole Golf and Tennis. Ryan is active in his community and has formerly served on the Mount Airy Christian Academy Board, the YMCA South County Advisory Board and the Frederick County Young Life committee. He is also an active member of Fourth Presbyterian Church in Bethesda.

About Richard Golod
For the 20 years prior to joining Three Oaks, Rick was the chief global strategist at some of the world’s largest financial institutions, including Morgan Stanley Asset Management, Van Kampen Investments and Invesco. In these roles, he was responsible for originating and providing the investment outlook for the mutual fund distribution arm of the firms. Rick is a Certified Investment Strategist and has held the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation. He graduated from Washington University in Saint Louis with a degree in finance and a concentration in investments.
Rick has been asked to share his insights through personal appearances, industry roundtables and written commentary. He lectured at the Wharton School of Business, Yale University, Rice University, Utah State and The United States Naval Academy’s Honors Economic Class. His deep understanding of the global markets led to an invitation to share his global economic outlook for a think tank at the Pentagon.
Born in Africa and raised in Europe and Asia, Rick combines a unique global perspective with nearly forty years of investment experience. He believes his diverse background helps him better understand the complexities investing overseas. His research in identifying the U.S. market’s natural rotation – a pattern of asset class outperformance/underperformance – is considered innovative and groundbreaking.
In his free time, Rick is an avid cyclist, enjoys molecular gastronomy, and sailing. He is also involved with dragon boat racing for breast cancer survivors, the Navy Seal Foundation, and Feeding America.

About Evan Wilson

Evan Wilson, who joined the Three Oaks team in the summer of 2016, focuses on comprehensive financial planning for individuals and families, including tuition planning, retirement-plan development and implementation, and conducting employee retirement-education meetings.
Evan completed the Certified Financial Planner - CFP® program through the Northwestern University School of Professional Studies. Before joining the team in 2016, Evan spent seven years teaching Upper School Mathematics at The Boys' Latin School of Maryland. In addition, Evan attained the Qualified Plan Financial Consultant - QPFC credential in 2023 which demonstrates Evan's knowledge and commitment to working with qualified retirement plans, and showcases proficiency of plan administration, compliance, investment, fiduciary, and ethics issues. In addition, he earned the Certified Private Wealth Advisor ® - CPWA® designation in 2024. CPWA® is an advanced professional certification for advisors who serve high-net-worth clients. It’s designed for seasoned professionals who seek the latest, most advanced knowledge and techniques to address the sophisticated needs of clients with a minimum net worth of $5 million. The CPWA® program takes a holistic and multidisciplinary approach that includes a deep dive into sophisticated wealth strategies, estate planning, wealth transfer, behavioral finance, family dynamics, tax management, and legacy planning
Prior to his career in education, Evan worked as a golf professional at several prestigious clubs in New Jersey, Maryland and Florida. He has been a Class A member of the PGA of America since 2007. Evan graduated from Penn State University’s Professional Golf Management program in 2006. After transitioning into the field of education, he obtained a Master of Arts degree in teaching, with a focus in secondary mathematics, from Loyola University in 2013. Evan spent much of his youth in Central Pennsylvania and has lived in the Baltimore area for roughly 10 years. Evan enjoys traveling, playing and coaching golf whenever he can, playing paddle tennis in the winter, and spending time with his dog.

About Cade Jarrard, CFA®

Cade Jarrard, a resident of St. Petersburg, FL, joined the Three Oaks team in October 2020 and began his career as a financial advisor shortly thereafter. During that time, he has been involved with many of the team’s functions. He has worked closely with the team’s investment committee, helping advise clients on asset allocation, investment selection, and goals-based financial planning. Cade also works with the marketing committee to bring helpful content to clients via the team’s Tuesday Talks.
Prior to Morgan Stanley, Cade did a couple of cooperative education programs while at the University of Florida (Go Gators!). He worked briefly as a process engineer in the pulp & paper industry at Rayonier Advanced Materials and WestRock, prior to earning his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering in 2020. During those experiences, Cade developed as a professional and learned the importance of building relationships to solve problems.
Today, he is advancing his knowledge of investments and financial problem-solving skills. He resides in downtown St. Pete with his fiancé, Danielle. During his free time, Cade enjoys spending time with friends, as well as golfing, biking and hiking.

About James Henson

James Henson joined Morgan Stanley in 2009, specializing in portfolio analysis and investment management services. He began his career at Mosaic Funds as a portfolio accountant and has also worked at Tucker Anthony and Convergent Investment Advisors. James is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, with a Bachelor of Arts in government and politics. He also earned his master’s degree in international management from the University of Maryland University College with a concentration in finance. He holds the Certified Fund Specialist designation obtained from the Institute of Business and Finance. He holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary designation from Fi360. He is a member of the Investment and Wealth Institute.
James is a member of Ladew Topiary Gardens and enjoys visiting them with his family. In his free time James enjoys playing chess and is a member of the United States Chess Federation. He is also a competitive pickleball player and travels to compete in tournaments. He has represented the state of Maryland in the National Senior Olympics. He is Series 7, 6, 31, 63 and 66 licensed.
About Kristin Alexander
Vice President
Group Director
Kristin Alexander is the Group Director and serves as lead administrator. She focuses on administrative functions for the team, including client service, managing staff, and overseeing team coordination and communication.
Kristin joined the Three Oaks team in 2012. She began her career as a Registered Client Service Associate with Morgan Stanley in 2006, becoming Group Director in 2012 and earning the title of Vice President in 2022. She graduated from Villanova University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration.
Kristin received an athletic scholarship to play Division I soccer at Villanova and in her senior year was co-captain of the school’s soccer team. She resides in Bethesda, Maryland, with her two active sons.
About Jessica Sewell
Assistant Vice President

Jessica Sewell is responsible for coordinating the team’s events and marketing efforts as well as maintaining the team’s strategic partnerships within the Firm. In addition, as a fully licensed staff member, she helps execute client trade and maintenance requests.
Jessica began her career at Morgan Stanley in 2010 as an intern and joined the Three Oaks team the following year as a Client Service Associate. In 2012, she became a registered representative, followed by a transition to Wealth Management Associate, and then into her current role as Business Development Associate. After graduating from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy and a minor in business administration, Jessica moved to Frederick, Maryland, and resides with her husband David. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her nearby family, her dogs and watching basketball to cheer on her Kansas Jayhawks.
About Kate Gallo
Wealth Management Associate
Kate Gallo is responsible for providing daily client service and technology needs, operations and administration. Her duties also consist of preparing financial reports and materials for client meetings as well as entering orders for the team’s advisors.
Before joining Three Oaks Wealth Management in 2017 as a Client Service Associate, Kate graduated from Gettysburg College with a degree in economics and minors in philosophy and business. In just over a year, she obtained both her Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, giving her the title of Registered Client Service Associate. She is now the team’s Wealth Management Associate and has earned the CIMA® - Certified Investment Management Analyst designation, and the QPFC - Qualified Plan Financial Consultant designation.
Kate is a New Jersey native who moved to Washington, DC after graduating college. She enjoys watching football and spending time with her friends and her French Bulldog.
