About John Rochester
Previously, John’s career was in public accounting where he focused on not-for-profit, governmental and retirement plan clients. It was during that time that he became aware of clients’ needs for translating their goals into specific investment objectives and personalized investment strategies. Realizing that by structuring portfolios which could be implemented and then continually refined, John knew his professional commitment was to help bring clients closer to their definition of financial success.
John has a long history of local and national philanthropy having served on numerous boards ranging from the arts to food insecurity, education, LGBTQ issues and animal rights. He has been awarded a number of distinguished accolades for his dedication including the “2007 America’s Promise National Volunteer of the Year” award, a “Presidential Point of Light Service Award” in 2007 and the “2000 Code of the West Volunteer Service Award”. He was also recognized in 2014 as one of the “10 Who Made a Difference” in Santa Fe and most recently awarded the 2024 “Lifetime Philanthropic Award” by the NM Museum Foundation. John is continuing his philanthropic service as Chair-Elect of the Presbyterian Health Foundation Board.

About Mitch Vigil
When asked about his role, Mitch said “As a family man and member of the community, I understand what is important to me and what brings me fulfillment. Taking the time to listen and truly understand what makes my clients happy, what they value, who's important in their life, and what they enjoy doing most is the center of our relationship. In order to help my clients spend more time on the things that matter most to them, I bring the tools and resources to help make sure their financial future is secure and they are fulfilled personally. Working closely with others to help craft, build and maintain their chosen lifestyle is what drives my passion and my life.”
Mitch earned his B.A. in Business Administration, Financial Management, and Economics from the University of New Mexico. He volunteers and is the board chair/president of the New Mexico Cancer Center Foundation. This foundation helps cancer patients with non-medical financial costs and other support services.
Mitch has been married to Camaree since 2015, and they have two children together, Greyson and Camila. In his free time, Mitch enjoys reading, exercising, mountain biking, and doing house projects with his wife.

About Carlos Duque
I have been working in the financial industry since 2005 and believe that honesty, respect and hard work are essential values in both my professional and personal life. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2011, I was a financial advisor at Wells Fargo. I also worked for a top-tier accounting firm as a tax consultant. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in accounting and my post graduate degree in taxes from the renowned Panamerican University in Mexico City.
Originally from Mexico City, I was raised and lived there for 25 years before coming to New Mexico. I met my wife, Victoria, in 2001, and we have three children, Ella, Patrick and Andre. We have been living in Rio Rancho since 2009. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, training for triathlons and striving for a balanced and healthy lifestyle. I am constantly seeking challenges and motivated toward new goals. I have completed five sprint triathlons, one Olympic and my first Half Ironman in Boulder, CO in August of 2022.

I have lived in Albuquerque since 1987. I enjoy being with family and friends (people and animals!) My hobbies are scrapbooking, cardmaking, and exploring the local parks with my dog. I actually take my cat for a walk too or, should I say, my cat walks me! I enjoy the outdoors and would love to travel more and explore all parts of our beautiful country.

A native of Santa Fe, Eric has roots in Chihuahua, Chihuahua, where he spent many summers growing up and still visits often. Outside the office, he enjoys cooking out, keeping up with sports, playing guitar, and spending time with his family.

Rick began his career in financial services in 1996, and joined Morgan Stanley in 2014 as a Private Banker. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Private Banker at BBVA Compass. He also served as a Credit Analyst,
Private Banker and Regional Credit Manager at Wells Fargo Bank, N.A.
Rick is a graduate of Arizona State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Finance. He lives in Scottsdale, Arizona with his family. Outside of the office, Rick enjoys music, skiing, and traveling.
About Trammel Austin
He earned his undergraduate degree from Georgia State University and received the Financial Planning Specialist® designation from the College for Financial Planning. Trammel is originally from Austin, Texas and currently resides in Alpharetta, Georgia.
