Our Mission Statement
Our Story and Services
That belief is what brought William Creekbaum and Scott Gross together.
With decades of combined experience, Bill and Scott each bring different perspectives to the table, creating a team built on thoughtful guidance, real relationships, and steady leadership through life’s transitions. Their backgrounds may be different, but their approach is the same: listen first, understand what matters most, and help clients make confident financial decisions with purpose.
Bill Creekbaum’s career was shaped by discipline, leadership, and long-term thinking. Before entering the financial services industry, he served as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps, an experience that continues to influence the way he works with clients today—with preparation, accountability, and a commitment to serving others. Over the years, he has developed a practice centered around retirement planning, wealth management, and helping families and business owners navigate important financial decisions with clarity and intention.
Scott Gross brings a deeply personal and relationship-driven approach to the team. His path into wealth management began in Southwest Ohio before joining Morgan Stanley more than two decades ago. Throughout his career, Scott has been known for helping clients feel comfortable, understood, and supported—especially during major life changes. Whether guiding families through retirement, coordinating estate considerations, or helping clients simplify complex financial situations, Scott believes trust is built through consistency and genuine connection.
Together, Bill and Scott built The Reno Group around the idea that clients deserve both experience and accessibility. They understand that financial decisions are rarely just about numbers—they are tied to families, businesses, goals, and legacies. That’s why their process focuses on long-term relationships, personalized strategies, and open communication every step of the way.
Supporting the team are Brayden Fiorillo, Registered Client Service Associate, and Laurie Creekbaum, Client Service Associate, who help ensure clients feel cared for and connected in every interaction. From day-to-day service needs to ongoing coordination and support, the team is committed to creating an experience that feels responsive, personal, and welcoming.
Based in Reno, Nevada, The Reno Group works with individuals, families, retirees, business owners, and institutions who value a thoughtful, relationship-oriented approach to wealth management. Their services include retirement planning, financial planning, estate planning strategies, corporate retirement plans, institutional services, endowments and foundations, and comprehensive wealth management.
At the heart of everything they do is a simple belief: financial guidance works best when it starts with people. The Reno Group is here to help clients navigate life’s opportunities and challenges with a team that takes the time to truly know them—not just their finances.
Your Goals. Your Priorities. Your Future.
Whether you're planning for retirement, managing wealth across generations, or overseeing institutional assets, our approach starts with understanding what matters most to you.
