About Peter B Princi

Peter is a graduate of Wake Forest University with a degree in Business Finance and has earned the CIMA® designation (Certified Investment Management Analyst SM) from The University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business. After his pitching days with the NY Mets minor league system, Peter joined Morgan Stanley in 1999 and has over 20 years’ experience in the industry and is the founder of The Princi Group which has offices in Boston and NY. The group consults on and manages over $12.5 billion of assets for institutional and high net worth clients. Of Peter’s many recognitions he was ranked #1 consultant in the country (out of roughly 100,000) in the annual “Top 40 Under 40” On Wall Street magazine in 2014 and in 2016-2024 was ranked in the Top 100 consultants by Barron’s Magazine, with the most recent ranking in 2024 of #2 in MA and #34 in the country out of about 600,000 registered consultants/advisors (according to FINRA). In addition, Forbes Magazine ranked him in the top 100 wealth managers from 2015-2024 and with a recent ranking of #39 in the country. As a Managing Director of Graystone and The Princi Group, Peter is the lead in the management and service of the Princi Groups’ private client relationships which include high net worth families/individuals, family offices, foundations, endowments, and insurance companies. He focuses his time on the creation of the investment and spending policy statements, determining strategic and tactical asset allocation policies, investment ideas and themes, manager selection and monitoring portfolio results. Peter serves on the committee for alternative Investments and Socially Responsible/Impact investing at Morgan Stanley as well as a number of outside foundation and endowment boards. In his time away from work, enjoys playing golf, skiing, fishing and coaching his 3 boys summer baseball teams.

About Gregory Barbeau

Greg Barbeau is a Senior Vice President and Family Wealth Director responsible for asset allocation and developing customized investment management solutions for the team’s clients. The experience in offshore markets Greg has acquired helps to ensure that investments are managed in accordance with the various rules of each offshore domicile in which the team does business.

Greg is also an Alternatives Investment Director with the firm, a recognition of the team’s commitment to integrating alternative strategies into our clients’ core portfolios through the use of private capital opportunities in equity, credit and real estate, as well as hedge funds. Maggie credits her experience as a student, teammate and captain as giving her the drive to earn a spot in the esteemed Morgan Stanley rotational program within Wealth Management. Following the program Maggie joined the Alternative Investment Division where she helped manage various business strategies. She was elevated to Vice President and managed some of the firm’s most important third party asset management relationships, including Blackstone, KKR, Carlyle and Ares. After many years in New York City Maggie relocated back to Boston to join the Princi Group. Her decade-long experience within Morgan Stanley, in a variety of roles, gives Maggie a unique perspective and skill set in helping her clients meet their financial goals.

About Jamie Racine Hollenbeck

Jamie graduated from Bay Path College with a Bachelor of Science in Business and has over 23 years’ experience in the investment industry. She is responsible for all aspects of the client service experience for The Princi Group at Morgan Stanley by overseeing our Client Service Associates who coordinate all client meetings, client communication and client account maintenance for both institutional and private wealth clients. About Greg Markel, CFA

Greg has had over 30 years of investment experience as both a portfolio manager and an analyst. Most recently, he served as a portfolio manager at Strategy Asset Managers where he managed a Concentrated Growth Strategy and worked on separately managed accounts for both institutional and high net worth clients. Prior to his work at Strategy Asset Managers, he worked as a portfolio manager at A.R. Schmeidler where he both managed high net worth accounts as well as developed research based investment ideas for clients’ portfolios. During his career, he also gained experience with alternative investments while he was the portfolio manager for the Stadia Opportunity Fund, a $110m hedge fund. In addition, Greg also was a co-manager on the State Street Research Investment Trust, a $2.5B growth and income mutual fund. He began his career as a senior municipal fixed income analyst at Fidelity Investments. Greg received his Masters of Business Administration in 1991 at The University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business. He completed his undergraduate education at Brown University in 1986 where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in both Economics and Psychology. He currently holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation (“CFA”) and is a member of the New York Society for Security Analysts. In his time away from work, Greg enjoys traveling, tennis, reading and spending time with his family.

About Katrina L. Lastih

Katrina is a graduate of Boston University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Business Administration and has over 15 years experience in the investment industry. She works alongside our Portfolio Management team to conduct investment manager searches and due diligence reviews. Katrina is responsible for all investment operations for our institutional and private wealth clients and oversees performance monitoring, portfolio holdings and generating customized client reports. Katrina also manages all aspects of syndicate trading and operations for our institutional and international client accounts. Additionally, she facilitates the RFP process for our institutional business development.
Katrina enjoys traveling, skiing, golf, and hiking with her two rescue dogs. She spends her time as a hospice volunteer and is a state-certified support group facilitator for the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

About Alexandra A. Russo

Alexandra is a graduate of Boston College with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Spanish. She has over 10 years' experience in the investment industry. She is responsible for executing on all service related matters for some of our largest client relationships and offers skilled experience and knowledge in many fields. Her responsibilities also include assisting our CFP® professional in creating and monitoring financial plans and preparing financial goal analyses based on our clients’ financial objectives. About Michael Alvarez

Michael graduated in 2018 from Boston College with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. He joined Morgan Stanley in 2019 as a Registered Client Service Associate. His responsibilities include executing any and all service related matters for our clients. He enjoys working in a team environment and has a passion for helping people with their finances, as he did in his previous job, as well. Before joining Morgan Stanley, he worked as a Financial Professional at AXA Advisors in Wellesley, MA. About Rob Wheatley

Rob graduated from Messiah University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He is responsible for managing client accounts and facilitates in the day-to-day operations of The Princi Group. His exceptional time management and organizational skills help ensure quality service for the team's clients.

Rob is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, and has earned the CIMA® designation (Certified Investment Management Analyst) from The University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Rob worked as the Northeast Division Internal Sales Team Leader at one of the oldest asset management firms in the world, MFS Investment Management.

Originally from Winchester, MA, Rob is the fourth of five kids and currently resides in Boston’s Beacon Hill with his wife, Connor. Rob was a member of the men’s club hockey team in college, and still enjoys staying active through a number of sports leagues, golf and tennis, and traveling with his family.

About Abbie McLean

Abbie is a graduate of Fordham University Rose Hill with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Spanish Language. During her time at Fordham, Abbie interned at several firms, including Wheels Up LLC. and Discover Inc. After graduating in 2020, Abbie joined 1251 Capital/Diffractive Managers Group, a boutique asset management distribution firm in Boston, MA. She started as an Internal Sales Consultant and was elevated to Senior Account Manager in the Financial Institutions Group, managing several key relationships with partner firms, such as Wells Fargo, UBS, and Stifel. At the Princi Group, Abbie is responsible for managing client accounts, supporting the financial advisors on the team, and leads marketing efforts for the team. Originally from Cohasset, MA, Abbie currently lives in Boston. She spent several summers working at a marina in Osterville on Cape Cod and tries to spend as much free time as possible on the Cape. Abbie is involved with Team IMPACT and is a member of the Boys and Girls Club Friends Council. Abbie also holds FINRA Series 7, 63, & 66 licenses.

About Deirdre Mullowney

Deirdre graduated from Boston College in 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Marketing. While at BC, Deirdre was a student-athlete on the Women’s Ice Hockey team for 4 years and a team captain. She was also a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee. After graduation, she joined Fidelity Investments and worked as a Client Experience Associate before moving into a senior level role as an Associate in Brokerage Operations. She was tasked with building relationships with service managers to enhance the overall client experience. Deirdre is a Client Service Associate with the Princi Group and responsible for the client administrational needs and requests,and supporting the financial advisors on the team. Deirdre is originally from Newton, MA and currently lives in the North End in Boston. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, travel, and summering on Cape Cod, MA.

About Kerstin Gordon

Kerstin Gordon focuses on designing personalized financial plans and asset allocations for the team’s high net-worth individuals and families, with a particular focus on trust & estate planning needs and international clients. With a background in trading, Kerstin continues to leverage her capital markets and relationship building experience to support and empower clients to reach their financial goals. Born and raised in the British Virgin Islands, Kerstin deeply understands the unique challenges that international clients face and draws on her real-world experience to provide complex solutions to her clients.

Kerstin graduated from Pace University in New York City, with a B.A. in Economics and began her career at Goldman Sachs. When not working with clients, she enjoys playing squash, boating, being active, or being near the ocean. Growing up, she proudly played for the British Virgin Islands National Squash Team, becoming ranked in her age group. She remains active in the community and currently serves on the Massachusetts Squash board for the greater New England area. Kerstin resides in the historic North End of Boston.

About Jake Sherman

Jake graduated from Providence College in 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and a Minor in Finance. During his time at school he interned at several firms, including, UBS and Morgan Stanley, as well as a marketing firm in Milan, Italy where he spent 6 months living. He then ultimately joined the Princi team after graduation. Jake is a Client Service Associate with the Princi Group and is responsible for assisting the financial advisors on the team. Jake is originally from Medfield, MA and currently lives in South Boston. He spends his summers in Falmouth on Cape Cod, where he loves to go boating and fishing. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, watching football, playing lacrosse, and hanging out with friends and family.
