Our Mission Statement
Our mission is to earn your trust through open and clear communication, objective advice, hard work and a genuine concern for your overall financial well-being.
WORKING WITH MORGAN STANLEY'S MARATHONE GROUP
Financial planning is often likened to a marathon because, like a long-distance race, it's a journey that requires endurance, preparation, and a well-thought-out strategy. Here's how financial planning mirrors the characteristics of a marathon:
- Long-Term Perspective: Just as marathon runners prepare for a race that spans many miles, financial planning is focused on the long term. It's about setting and achieving financial goals over a lifetime, which may include retirement, buying a home, or funding education.
- Consistency and Discipline: Marathon runners must stick to a training regimen and stay disciplined to build their endurance. Similarly, financial planning requires consistent saving, investing, and budgeting habits to reach your objectives.
- Adaptability: Marathon runners must adjust to changing conditions, such as weather or course terrain. Financial planning also demands adaptability, as life circumstances can change, and your financial strategy may need adjustments accordingly.
- Setting Milestones: Runners often break down a marathon into smaller milestones, like reaching each mile marker. Similarly, financial planning involves setting intermediate financial goals that lead to your ultimate objectives, providing a sense of achievement along the way.
- Risk Management: Runners face physical challenges and potential injuries during a marathon, so they must manage risks. In financial planning, risk management involves diversifying investments and having a safety net in place, such as insurance, to protect against unexpected setbacks.
- Endurance and Patience: Just as marathon runners must endure the physical and mental challenges of a long race, financial planning requires patience to weather market fluctuations and stay committed to your goals despite setbacks.
In both a marathon and financial planning, the journey can be challenging, but the sense of accomplishment and fulfillment that comes from reaching the finish line or achieving your financial goals makes it all worthwhile. Just as runners rely on training and determination, successful financial planning requires dedication, a clear roadmap, and the ability to stay the course, no matter how long it takes to cross the financial finish line.

OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH YOU BEGINS WITH A COVERSATION
Our clients are executives and families who have often accumulated wealth but need help managing and ultimately transferring their assets. They are busy people, many are professionals in corporations who find managing money in today’s economy a challenge.
Some of our clients have been with us for more than 20 years, and we are now privileged to work with the third generation in some cases. There is no greater professional satisfaction than to have been welcomed into a family throughout their important life stages—educational planning, real estate purchases, business succession, retirement, and estate planning strategies.

Working With You
In order to create a sound financial strategy, we want a deep understanding of you and your goals. We want to know the future you envision and the past that brought you here. We also want to know:
• What keeps you up at night?
• How do you envision life when you retire?
• What kind of legacy do you hope to leave your heirs?
We ask these questions and more. Then we create a customized financial plan—a virtual road map that we monitor and adjust as needed to help keep you on track. This allows us to develop a strategy for all aspects of your financial life—portfolio construction, asset allocation, risk management, estate planning, and charitable gifting.
In helping to manage your financial affairs, we coordinate with your other trusted advisors; including attorneys and CPAs as needed. We have access to a wide range of resources and skilled professionals. With this powerful combination, we provide a 360-degree financial strategy that’s not only coordinated, but comprehensive.
