About Skip Moosher

With over 38 years of experience at the firm, Skip acts as the senior partner of the Independence Wealth Management Group in Washington, DC, overseeing assets under management in excess of $2 billion (as of March 2024). Skip has built his career around hard work and doing the right thing for his clients, colleagues and the community. He has thoughtfully assembled a team of talented financial professionals at Independence Wealth, instilling them with a client-first focus and dedication to trusting relationships. Sharing his experience with fellow team members and supporting their professional development are key tenets of the team’s success.
As one of a select group of individuals approved as an International Client Advisor, Skip manages portfolios both domestically and throughout 40 countries. His areas of concentration include investment management, asset allocation and estate planning for high net worth individuals and families across the globe.

Since joining Morgan Stanley in 2014, Chaz has earned the International Client Advisor designation which enables him to work with clients in over 40 jurisdictions globally. As a Client Service Associate, Mackenzie is the go-to resource for all client requests and inquiries. Mackenzie plays an integral role in onboarding new clients both domestically and internationally. in support of our international business. Mackenzie began her career with Morgan Stanley in 2017 on the institutional trading operations team for fixed income securities and municipal bonds. She joined Independence Wealth Management in 2019.
A native of upstate New York, Mackenzie graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Binghamton University, State University of New York. She now lives on New York’s Long Island with her husband and two young boys. Together, they enjoy exploring Long Island and attending Red Bulls soccer games.

About Brian J. Dinka

Brian brings more than 14 years of financial services experience to his role as a Senior Client Service Associate. As a key member of the team, Brian assists with administrative functions such as client onboarding and timely fulfillment of existing client requests. Tolu Adeyemi is a Private Banker serving Morgan Stanley Wealth Management offices in Washington D.C. and Maryland.
