Meet The Heritage Group

About Me

Has 18 years of experience as a fully licensed investment professional. Phyllis has more than 20 years in the financial services industry, holding positions in commercial lending, cash management, trust services, branch management and investment planning and supervision. She implements wealth management strategies for clients and businesses by concentrating on portfolio management. Phyllis focuses on portfolio management, legacy planning, long term care and life insurance, and financial planning analysis. She also is responsible for the development, design and deployment and monitoring of corporate/non-profit organizations retirement plans. After years of assisting plan sponsors, Phyllis was awarded the distinguished Corporate Retirement Director (CRD) designation with Morgan Stanley, which is held by less than 2% of the financial advisors in the firm as of August 2016. The CRD designation recognizes advisors who have dedicated their practice to helping corporate clients manage all aspects of their retirement plans. Phyllis works with Plan Sponsors, Trustees and Investment Committees to assist them in managing their fiduciary duties. She has extensive experience in helping plan sponsors review Investment Policy Statements, select appropriate money managers, educate participants and ongoing plan monitoring. As a CRD, she serves as a resource to other financial advisors who are seeking council from an experienced corporate retirement plan financial advisor. Additionally, Phyllis is a Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist (CRPS). Phyllis has received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and her Masters of Business Administration from the University of Iowa.
