About Tom Barnes

As the senior member of The Barnes Group, Tom Barnes brings knowledge, wisdom and experience to the management of the group's client portfolios. In addition to his Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Western Kentucky University and Series 7, 63 and 65 registrations, he has more than 40 years of experience as a financial advisor.

In addition to setting overall strategy for the team, Tom oversees asset allocation and comprehensive plans of record for each client, providing a “second look” to distill the best thinking to help each client work toward reaching their desired financial outcome. He often collaborates with a client's other professional associates such as accountants and estate attorneys, where appropriate.

Tom was recognized every year as a Premier Advisor at his previous firm and takes pride in providing investment advice to help build generational wealth. He continues to use his comprehensive financial planning strategies and enjoys staying personally engaged with his clients. By earning the lifelong trust of his clients, in many cases, he is advising the fourth generation of many families.

Tom resides with his wife Terri in Louisville, Kentucky and Phoenix, Arizona. He enjoys time with his three adult children and six grandchildren. He relaxes by playing golf and hiking in both Kentucky and Arizona.

About Thomas Barnes

As a Senior Vice President of The Four Harvest Group, Thomas is dedicated to making financial security as accessible and transparent as possible. This is his passion.

Thomas Barnes holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Finance from Southern Methodist University, is Series 7 and 66 registered, and holds relevant insurance licenses.

During his youth, Thomas saw his father care for the financial interests of his clients and learned early on the importance of helping them set appropriate goals and establish disciplined investment practices to work toward those goals. Now a 20-year veteran, Thomas oversees the day-to-day management of the team's practice, ensuring that clients are provided with a consistent process from each advisor on the team. He focuses on custom financial planning and personalized investment management. In addition, he provides clients with access to the full range of financial resources, as appropriate, for their financial needs; including portfolio management, wealth management, asset allocation, 401K and retirement plan management and individual investments. He enjoys staying connected and interacting with his clients, whether the occasion is a regular meeting or a client family celebration.

Thomas is a believer in contributing to the strength of the communities in which he works and lives. He participates in several charitable organizations including The American Cancer Society, Speed Museum, Love City and The Healing Place.

Thomas resides in Louisville, Kentucky with his wife Tiffany and their two children.

Bayard resides in Anchorage, Kentucky with his wife Jennifer and their three children. He is very active in his community and church. He believes in the importance of supporting those in need, and focuses time serving local not-for-profits including Access Ventures and Love City.

Rachel started her career in the financial service industry in 2017 after earning her Bachelor of Science in Finance from Virginia Tech. She joined RBC Wealth Management in the summer of 2017. With over 6 years of experience as a support professional for various high producing financial advisors, Rachel has enjoyed demonstrating her analytical skills by segmenting their books of business with a proactive outreach model.
