About Emily DeJarnett
I am a Financial Advisor with The DeJarnett Peters Group at Morgan Stanley. My primary focus is assessing the needs and goals of our clients in order to present comprehensive financial strategies.
I graduated with a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Religion from the University of Georgia. I began my professional career working for a non-profit organization primarily focusing on the development and engagement of cross-sector community leaders. In that capacity, I also recorded, monitored and reported all organizational financial matters. Having moved to Knoxville more than a decade ago, I am enjoying all that East Tennessee has to offer. I am an alumnus of the Knoxville Fellows, a Christian leadership development program that focuses on service to our Knoxville community and now serve on the board of the program’s governing organization 4 Market Square. I am passionate about education and providing support to children in our community. I was a founding board member of the West Hills Elementary School Wolf Pack Foundation dedicated to addressing the academic, creative and social needs of children in my local school. I am an active member of Rotary International having just served as President of my local club. I am also currently serving on the Board of Trustees for the Knoxville Museum of Art. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, researching new recipes, college football, golf and attending live concerts.
