        Jonathan H. Evans

        As a senior partner of The F.E.D. Wealth Management Group, Jon works as an advisor to a select group of the team’s more complex client relationships. He focuses on asset allocation, portfolio construction, manager selection and due diligence.

         
        Jon is a graduate of Kent School in Kent, Connecticut. He attended Ohio-Wesleyan University and graduated from Pace University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and accounting. Jon joined Merrill Lynch in 1990 and was selected to follow a management path. After serving as a Professional Sales Manager for a number of years, he decided that he preferred working directly with clients and, with David Donovan, formed the team that became The F.E.D. Wealth Management Group in 2000.

         
        Jon is one of a select group of Morgan Stanley advisors who have earned the Family Wealth Director designation. Financial Advisors who merit this designation must meet stringent quantitative and qualitative requirements. Directors must also demonstrate professional knowledge and experience in a number of areas, including estate planning, alternative investments, controlled and restricted securities, lending, hedging and monetization, and business succession planning.

         
        Jon is also a member of the Association of Professional Investment Consultants (APIC), an organization committed to the role of Financial Advisors as client advocates. In 2009, he earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation.

        David began his career in the financial services industry with Merrill Lynch in 1985. David and his partner Jon Evans co-founded The F.E.D. Wealth Management Group in 2000.

         
        David is one of a select group of Morgan Stanley advisors who have earned the designation of Family Wealth Director by meeting the high standards required to advise the firm’s most valuable clients. He is dedicated to helping high net-worth individuals and their families preserve and grow their financial, family and social capital.

         
        David became a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) in 1990 and is an active member of the International Board of the Standards and Practices for Financial Planners. He is also a Portfolio Management Director with Morgan Stanley’s Portfolio Management Group, which consists of Financial Advisors who have shown the ability to independently manage client assets based on extensive training, experience, and commitment to portfolio management.

Wealth Management Group at Morgan Stanley, Art brings over thirty-five years of investment experience acquired through working primarily with retirees.  He focuses on income analysis and constructing investment plans which are designed to help clients reach their personal retirement goals. Clients typically are retired investors who seek wealth management advice so that they can retire comfortably and focus on the things they enjoy.  Art’s objective is to help clients maintain the financial independence they’ve worked their whole lives to achieve.

         
        Art graduated from the University of Albany with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration.  He went on to earn his MBA from Pace University.  Art began his career in 1983 at the Dean Witter Reynolds office in Greenwich and then moved his practice to Shearson Lehman Hutton in 1988.  Both Dean Witter Reynolds and Shearson Lehman Hutton are predecessor firms to Morgan Stanley, and he joined The F.E.D. Wealth Management Group at Morgan Stanley in July, 2016.

         
        Outside of the office, Art has served on the Board of Directors and as Finance Committee Chairman for the Greenwich Chapter of the American Red Cross and, more recently, served on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Greenwich Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Art enjoys spending time in the Adirondacks with family and friends – hiking, skiing, boating, bicycling and gardening.  Art lives in Old Greenwich, CT with his wife, Beth and their two children.

        In 1985 Chris began his career in the financial services industry with Shearson Asset management and then Alta Partners LLC. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley’s predecessor firm in 2006 as a Resident Manager and Financial Advisor, Chris worked at Merrill Lynch as a Financial Advisor.
