Meet Calusa Wealth Management Group
About Jason M. Duke
A Certified Financial Planner, Family Wealth Director, and founding partner of Calusa Wealth Management Group, Jason has dedicated his career to serving the specialized needs of individuals and families who have accumulated a higher level of wealth. His disciplined approach has earned him industry and firm recognition. Jason was named to the Forbes Best-in-State Advisors list in 2019 and the Gulfshore Business “40 Under 40” list in 2020. He is also a member of Morgan Stanley’s Masters Club, an elite group composed of the firm’s top Financial Advisors and served as the Fort Myers Branch Manager from 2015-2020.
Growing up in Fort Lauderdale, Jason has always had an interest in the financial markets. After graduating from Samford University with a B.S. degree in Accounting, he began his career as a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley in 2003. Jason enjoys helping clients understand the intricate details of their finances, so they can make more informed and confident decisions about their wealth. He receives great satisfaction knowing he is making a significant impact on the quality of his clients’ lives and often becomes one of the most important relationships to their families.
Throughout his career, Jason has remained committed to professional development. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and was recently named a Family Wealth Director at Morgan Stanley. This distinction – achieved by less than four percent of the firm’s advisors – provides Jason and his team with access to an exclusive set of resources that are designed to help families manage the multigenerational and more complex challenges of significant wealth. Jason is also a Senior Portfolio Management Director and Workplace Advisor of Equity Compensation at Morgan Stanley.
Jason’s desire to help others achieve their personal and professional goals is equaled only by his dedication to his community and his family. Over the years, he has held several board and leadership roles at organizations that focus on giving people the tools and information they need to make their lives better. These organizations include SWFL Children's Charities (trustee), Junior Achievement (past board member), Red Cross (past board chairperson), Horizon Foundation, Edison Awards and Captains for Clean Water.
Jason resides in Fort Myers with his wife, Ellen, and their three children, Miles, Teddy, and Lorelei. An avid saltwater fisherman, Jason competes in some of the most prestigious Tarpon and back country fly fishing tournaments in the world that are hosted every year in the Florida Keys.

In 2020, she was named to Morgan Stanley’s Pacesetter’s Club, a program that recognizes Financial Advisors who, early in their career, have demonstrated the highest professional standards and first-class client service.
A lifelong resident of Ft. Myers, Laurie earned her Bachelor’s and Master of Accounting degrees from the University of Florida. Upon graduation, she began her career as a Certified Public Accountant (non-practicing at Morgan Stanley) at RSM, an international accounting firm located in Naples. It was during this experience that Laurie discovered her real interest was working more directly with people to help them solve complex problems. This inspired Laurie to shift her focus to a profession that would pair her analytical skills with her desire to make a real difference in people’s lives.
Today, Laurie draws upon her vast experiences to provide clients with customized investment portfolios and tailored advice. She enjoys solving problems for clients and sharing insights from others who have experienced similar challenges in life and in business. Above all, she excels at simplifying the complexities of investing, effectively explaining her strategies with simple and easy-to-understand language. Helping families develop and implement a financial plan gives her great satisfaction, knowing she is playing an important part in their personal journey towards financial independence.
With her continued passion to help others, Laurie is actively involved in many local organizations and holds several leadership roles. These groups include the Junior League of Fort Myers (former board member and sustainer); the Fort Myers Women’s Community Club (board of directors and member); Hope Hospice SHINE Committee (2019 and 2021 member) , and the Edison Pageant of Light (Board Member and Past Treasurer).
Outside of the office, Laurie’s life centers on a love for travel and new adventures. She and her husband, Ian, are high school sweethearts and have a daughter, Claire, a son, Rhett, and a German Shepherd named Marshall. They also love to entertain and spend time in the kitchen trying out new recipes. Boating and cheering on the Florida Gators are other fun activities they both enjoy with family and friends.
