    Our relationship begins with an initial discussion aimed at getting to know you. We want to understand what is important to you, your family, and your legacy. In this meeting we will learn your attitudes towards investing, your investment goals, and what you are looking for in a financial advisor. Ultimately, we want determine if we are the right fit for you and your family and how we can help.

    2. Financial Planning
    Working with our teams’ certified financial planner, we will help you establish your financial goals. We will review your entire financial situation and set realistic targets based on your personalized risk tolerance and market expectations. Based on your current situation we can determine the likelihood of reaching your financial goals given various scenarios. During this step we often collaborate with your CPA and estate planning attorney to bring your entire financial and personal life into one cohesive plan. We can also share stories about families who tackled financial situations similar to yours and discuss how we have helped them.

    3. Implementation
    Based on the financial plan we have developed, we will build a customized investment strategy tailored to your unique needs. Asset allocation, risk management and tax efficiency will be thoroughly considered as we design your portfolio. We are not simply asset allocators, we are Senior Portfolio Managers. Rather picking investment products off of a shelf, we have a hand in choosing all the holdings in your portfolio. This gives us a unique and more detailed perspective of the markets and the ability to be much more flexible managing our client’s portfolios.

    We will oversee the progress towards your goals and review the performance of your portfolio via ongoing meetings - based on a communication strategy that works for you.     The Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA®) designation is given to financial professionals who service high net worth clients. In order to receive this designation, candidates must meet the prerequisite experience, education, and exam requirements. Tim earned the CPWA® designation after successfully completing an executive education course offered by Yale School of Management and passing a five-hour examination on topics including wealth transfer, charitable giving, estate planning, retirement planning, portfolio strategies, and more.

About W. Andrew Allison

Andy began his career in 1986 as a financial advisor in his hometown of Anchorage, Alaska. He became a manager in 1999 to train and mentor Financial Advisors. Prior to resuming his advisory career in 2004, Andy managed 125 employees in three states as a Complex Director.

Andy provides wealth management strategies for individuals, corporations and nonprofit organizations. He has broad experience in portfolio risk management, asset allocation, tax-sensitive strategies and wealth management planning. He holds a Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) designation. He is a graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business.

Andy resides in Kirkland with his wife, Christi, and their two children. He is a former board member of the United Way, the Kirkland Boys & Girls Club and is a benefactor to several charities helping children. Andy loves to travel. He is an avid skier and plays tennis, golf and sand volleyball. He also enjoys fly-fishing in the back country of Alaska.

About Jay Buxbaum

Jay is a Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager of the Allison Buxbaum Wealth Management Group. He tailors holistic strategies for successful business owners, professionals, affluent retirees, corporate executives, and multi-generational families. He also assists corporations, non-profits and endowments with cash and retirement plan management.

Meeting client goals is his primary focus. Whether it be funding a secure retirement, saving for a child’s education, tax-efficient wealth transfer, funding philanthropic desires or effective financing strategies, he helps to prioritize objectives and determine next best steps.

Jay brings more than three decades of financial services experience and perspective to clients. Before becoming a Financial Advisor in 1986, he spent the first three years of his career with Deloitte in their financial advisory division. In 1999, Jay was approved as a Portfolio Manager and these credentials allow him to manage our team’s proprietary investment models. He also holds the Certified Portfolio Manager CPM® designation awarded by the Academy of Certified Portfolio Managers. Jay is a graduate of the University of Washington with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration – Accounting.

Jay lives in Bellevue with his wife Rebecca. While not at the office, you may find him on the water paddling, in the mountains hiking and skiing or in his garden getting dirty.

About Keith Pareti

Keith has joined Morgan Stanley from Janus Henderson, a global asset manager, where he spent 5+ years as the Director of the Advisor Solutions Group for Washington state. In this role, he consulted directly with financial professionals on all Janus Henderson-related investments.

Prior to joining Janus Henderson in 2018, Mr. Pareti spent 8+ years as the west coast Director for WisdomTree Asset Management. He began his career in New York City on Wall Street as a trader in 2005 (working for AG Edwards, Group One Trading, GFI Group & Woodlawn Advisors).

In his role on the Allison Buxbaum team, Keith will focus on financial planning and endeavor to help our team’s clients build wealth to achieve their financial goals.

Mr. Pareti is a Certified Investment Management Analyst and holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance, from Monmouth University. He played Division I Soccer for four years at the highest level sanctioned by the NCAA. He was a contributing writer of Building Blocks to Wealth as well as Debt Markets and Investments- two Oxford University Press Textbooks.

Keith moved to Seattle in 2012 with his wife (Karen) and together they have their son (Cruz). Outside the office Keith enjoys golf, Sounders & Kraken games, & traveling with his family.

About Blair Pehanich

Blair began her financial services career in 2007 after graduating from Gonzaga University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, with a double concentration in finance and international business, and a minor in German. She actively volunteers at her church and in her community – supporting charities such as Habitat for Humanity, HopeLink, and animal rescues amongst others.

In her free time Blair enjoys traveling, staying active, cooking, baking, enjoying all the outdoor activities the Pacific Northwest has to offer, and spending quality time with family and friends. Blair and her husband John live in Lynnwood with their son Sammy, dog Charlee girl, and cats Charlie and Ginger. She is also a loud and loyal fan of Gonzaga basketball and the Seattle Seahawks.

About Annie Tipple

Annie started her financial services career in 2016 and has been with the Allison Buxbaum Group since 2019. She graduated from the University of Redlands with a degree in History and Visual & Media Studies. As the initial point of contact for many clients, she provides administrative and operational support to the team and assists in the execution of financial plans.

Although she’s a Puget Sound native, Annie has also lived in London and Southern California.

A four-season outdoor enthusiast, Annie enjoys rock climbing, trail running, mountaineering, and snowboarding.

About Adelaide El Zein

Adelaide El Zein, CFP® is a Vice President and Financial Planning Director serving Morgan Stanley’s
Wealth Management offices in Washington State, mainly serving our Bellevue, Kirkland, Yakima,
Kennewick and Bellingham office locations. She is responsible for helping Financial Advisors with their clients' and
prospects' financial planning needs.

A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNING® professional, Adelaide has been providing financial advice to
families and individuals in various settings for nearly 18 years. A former teacher, who taught
domestically and overseas in Germany and the United Arab Emirates, Adelaide launched her career in
finance at Ameriprise in 2004 after completing her MBA. She was an analyst at Merrill Lynch/Bank of
America for 4 years before joining an RIA in Arlington as a financial advisor.

A graduate of the University of Washington, she lives in Edmonds, WA with her future husband, Bob,
and his two teenage boys. Outside of work she enjoys photography, being outside, working on home
improvement projects, learning new languages and dancing to live music.
