About Me

As an investment professional for more than 30 years and the founding partner of Team Freiman, Michael’s mission is to make a difference in his clients’ lives by providing comprehensive wealth planning services with passion and integrity. He listens carefully to clients’ goals, values and concerns and works tirelessly to help them achieve their personal and financial objectives.
Michael began his career in financial services in 1980 with Legg Mason in the Washington D.C. office he still occupies today.  He became part of the Morgan Stanley family in 2009 due to a series of mergers and acquisitions. Michael received the 2005 Outstanding Broker Award by Registered Representative Magazine and was named to the Barron's list of Top 1,000 Financial Advisors in the U.S. for 2009-2012 and 2015.

Adam joined Team Freiman in 1995 after receiving his Master’s Degree in Econometrics from American University. Adam is responsible for designing and implementing client strategies that integrate comprehensive financial plans with the full range of financial solutions.  Adam currently serves on the finance committee of the Children’s Inn at NIH and is on the Board of Directors of the Association for Professional Investment Consultants, a group which directs Morgan Stanley’s efforts on wealth management.

As a Senior Client Service Associate, Karen provides a wide range of services to the clients of Team Freiman.  Her main responsibilities include operational and account support, 529 plan enrollment and maintenance, distributions and cash transfers, retirement cash flow, and various research-related activities.

Rob joined Team Freiman in 2014 and brings over 15 years of industry experience to the group. He has been with Morgan Stanley and its predecessor firms since 2002. Rob obtained his FINRA Series 7 and 63 designations in 2004. His wealth of experience within the firm supplies him with the foundation to provide superior client service.
Rob works directly with the team’s private and institutional clients. In this capacity, Rob oversees the execution of the firm’s client service model. This includes trade execution, portfolio implementation, issue resolution, cash transactions, checks, wires, new accounts, account transfers, online ClientServ access, account maintenance, and client communications.

With more than 21 years of experience in the financial services industry, Tim is a wealth management associate with Team Freiman.  He is responsible for a wide range of operational activities for the group, including trade execution, account maintenance, managing cash distributions, client communication, and more.

About Me

After three years as an intern, Adam joined Team Freiman full-time as a Client Service Associate in 2014.  As the team's Consulting Group Analyst, he is responsible for many investment activities that enhance and deliver a superior client experience. This includes performing portfolio analysis, investment due diligence, specific fund selection, and strategic client reporting.
Adam graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland in 2014.  He has passed both his Series 7 and Series 66 exams.

About Me

Steven joined Team Freiman as a Client Service Associate in June 2015, and passed his Series 7 and Series 66 exams. In his role on Team Freiman, Steven operates as the director of the group by organizing the day to day operational activities of the practice and focusing on long-term strategic initiatives.
Steven graduated with both a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland in 2011. After graduation, he worked for four years as a Tax Senior Associate with PricewaterhouseCoopers in McLean, VA.  He currently maintains his CPA license, but no longer provides tax advice.  Steven interned with Team Freiman for two years while enrolled at the University of Maryland.
