About Sara Hemmings

Sara uses her background as a Certified Financial Planner to help our clients structure wealth management strategies and personal financial plans that reflect their values, goals, and circumstances. She leverages sophisticated, detailed risk analysis and performance evaluation to align each client's plan with their specific objectives. Sara was selected as a Global Sports and Entertainment Director, due to her experience working with team owners, athletes, coaches, and social media influencers. She collaborates with their business managers, agents, attorneys, and accountants to help coordinate the overall management of their unique financial situation.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Sara was captain of the Division I Women's Basketball team at Colorado State University, where she led the team in assists as a senior, while also making the Mountain West All- Academic team, the Dean's List, and earning a community service award. After graduation she was hired as an Assistant Coach for the CSU Women's basketball team. Sara moved back to Northern Colorado and joined her father and brother-in law at Morgan Stanley in 2015, after working for Jackson National Life Insurance and Annuities and Michigan Financial Companies. She earned the Certified Financial Planner and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation at the College for Financial Planning. These prestigious designations reflect her knowledge, skills, and commitment to upholding high ethical standards. Coaching has always been a part of Sara's life and she continues to do so in her role at Morgan Stanley, as she now coaches' clients and their families to help them on their path to financial wellness.

Sara lives in Windsor Colorado with her husband Cody, and their son and daughter. She is an active member of the community coaching her kids in youth sports at the local YMCA, and Mighty Kicks Soccer. Sara supports many organizations focused on serving the community, including American Cancer Society, Hearts and Horses, Ace Scholarships, Partners Mentoring youth, and many others. She currently serves on the Executive Committee and Board of a Women's Place in Weld County, an organization that helps domestic violence victims find safety and security. Sara believes that we are each called to give back, serve others, and work hard to make our lives, our families lives, and our communities better.
