About Naveed Yousufzai
Naveed Yousufzai, CFP® serves as the Business Development Manager for the Southern Virginia Market, bringing more than a decade of wealth management experience to his role. In his current position, Naveed partners with Financial Advisors and leadership teams across the region to drive growth, elevate client experiences, and promote the integration of the Firm’s vast resources—from Wealth Management and Investment Management to Investment Banking and Family Office capabilities. His focus areas include advisor development, practice management, and strategic business planning, ensuring advisors are equipped to deliver holistic, goals-based advice to every client.
Before joining Morgan Stanley, Naveed held a range of leadership and advisory positions at Merrill Lynch, including Relationship Manager, Financial Advisor, and Market Supervision Manager. These roles cultivated his deep understanding of both the client and advisor experience—combining hands-on financial planning experience with a disciplined approach to compliance, operations, and leadership. This well-rounded foundation continues to inform his approach today, where he blends strategy, mentorship, and execution to strengthen advisor practices and client outcomes.
A Richmond native, Naveed earned both his undergraduate degree and MBA from Old Dominion University. He resides in Glen Allen, Virginia, with his wife, their two sons, and three pets. Outside of the office, Naveed is deeply committed to community engagement, volunteering with organizations such as the American Red Cross and Habitat for Humanity, and supporting youth development and local outreach initiatives.

Outside of work, he values time spent with family, woodworking, golf, riding motorcycles, and staying active through boxing and strength training—approaching each with the same curiosity and craftsmanship that define his professional life.
