About Dan Price

With more than 27 years of service at Morgan Stanley, Dan has built a distinguished career rooted in leadership, advisor development, and a steadfast commitment to client success. He began his journey with the firm in 1999 as a Financial Advisor in the Plantation, Florida office before transitioning into management as the Producing Branch Manager of Coral Springs in 2003.

Over the years, Dan has held a variety of senior leadership roles across multiple regions, including Area Sales Manager in Southwest Florida, Complex Sales Manager in Atlanta, and Business Development Manager in Boca Raton. He also served as Branch Manager in West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, and Lutherville, Maryland—each experience sharpening his ability to cultivate strong teams, drive growth, and foster a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Today, Dan serves as the Market Executive for the Southern Virginia Market, which encompasses Richmond, Charlottesville, Roanoke, Williamsburg, Newport News, and Virginia Beach. He is also the branch manager in the Charlottesville and Roanoke locations. Throughout his leadership tenure, he has remained focused on leveraging Morgan Stanley’s comprehensive suite of resources to empower Financial Advisors—helping them deliver exceptional advice, innovative solutions, and holistic wealth management to their clients.

Dan earned dual Bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Marketing from Florida State University and holds the Registered Corporate Coach (RCC) designation from the World Wide Association of Business Coaches, reflecting his passion for mentorship and professional development.

A devoted husband to his wife, Sandra, and proud father of three, Dan is known for his steady leadership, integrity, and commitment to elevating those around him. His approach blends strategic vision with a genuine investment in people—qualities that have defined his success and continue to shape the Southern Virginia Market’s culture of excellence.

About Monica Handy

Monica Handy is the Business Service Officer for the Charlottesville and Roanoke branches, as well as the Richmond market. As a BSO, she works closely with the support staff to ensure the delivery of prompt and exceptional client service. Understanding the importance of outstanding service at Morgan Stanley, Monica is dedicated to continually enhancing the client experience by exploring new avenues for growth through quality service.

Before assuming her current role, Monica began her career as a Client Service Associate at Wells Fargo Advisors, where she gained valuable experience in client-facing activities and effectively addressed client needs to ensure satisfaction. Monica emphasizes the importance of coaching her team to deliver superior service, believing that everyone benefits when they are encouraged to reach their full potential in serving clients. She consistently focuses on strengthening the relationships between clients and advisors through improved service.

Monica holds a degree in psychology from Christopher Newport University and a MBA from Strayer University. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her son, traveling, watching the Minnesota Vikings, and engaging in various home improvement projects. Monica has been a Virginia native since her childhood, and she currently resides in Richmond.
