My Story

Greg Gutfleisch is a Senior Vice President, Senior Portfolio Manager, Financial Advisor and Investment Consultant at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management in Westlake Village CA. A seasoned wealth management professional, Greg is dedicated to helping people and their families plan for and achieve their most important financial and life goals, from sending children to college and retiring comfortably to practicing purposeful philanthropy and leaving a meaningful legacy.

As a Certified Financial Planner®, Greg upholds the highest standards of excellence for financial planning and provides personalized financial advice and tailored investment solutions to each of his valued clients. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in March of 2000, Greg was a financial analyst at Angelo, Gordon & Co., a New York-based privately-held registered investment advisor specializing in alternative investing. He began his career as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA Non Practicing at Morgan Stanley) and worked at Deloitte & Touche, where his clients ran the gamut from major manufacturers to Major League Baseball to financial companies. Greg’s dual background in alternative risk-based investment strategies and accounting gives him insight into the areas of risk analysis, risk protection and compliance, which can be valuable when advising clients on sound financial decision-making.

As a financial advisor, Greg is committed to collaborating with his clients, earning their trust and understanding their personal wealth management needs. By taking a holistic approach that looks beyond investment portfolios to the people and priorities that drive them, Greg helps his clients make well-informed, disciplined decisions based on their individual risk tolerance and investment horizon. Greg has also developed a passion for working with families that have children with special needs.

A native of Brooklyn, NY and a graduate of Binghamton University in Upstate New York, Greg loves his adopted home state of California and lives in Westlake Village with his wife, Joeli, and their two children, Alex and Kyra. On the weekends, you’ll find Greg, an avid sports fan, cheering in the stands at his children’s sports league games or playing golf.

Greg is an active member of his community, donating his time and talent to organizations and causes that have special meaning for him and his family. Currently, Greg sits on the Board of Directors at the Southeast Ventura County YMCA.
