My Mission Statement
My goal is to serve as the trusted advisor for you and your family, provide tax efficient investment strategies and portfolio management to help grow, build and protect your wealth and develop your family legacy.
My Story
I began my career in financial services more than three decades ago. At Morgan Stanley, I focus on providing comprehensive wealth management solutions to high-net-worth individuals, families, foundations and endowments. I have extensive experience serving socially responsible investors, especially those interested in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) issues, Sustainable investing and Impact investing; women business founders looking to maximize their wealth, exit their business, monetize their life’s work or raise capital for their business; and business owners who want to increase the value of their enterprise and provide for family members before and after exiting their company.
I am passionate about three things: 1) Taking care of my clients 2) Values aligned or Impact investing 3) Helping women build wealth.
I focus on helping my clients invest their assets in a way that will allow them to realize their goals and dreams, all the while investing their money in a values aligned and sustainable way. Once we determine what your vision and mission is as an individual or an organization, we set about creating a plan that will allow you to achieve your goals. I offer a monthly or quarterly call to all of my clients, and this communication plan allows me to offer to help in a timely manner when there is a need.
Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, I was with KPMG Peat Marwick in Chicago, where I focused on tax and estate planning services for family clients and served leading nonprofit clients in the Midwest as a Certified Public Accountant. I was recruited by Morgan Stanley to work in a tax planning group serving the Managing Directors of the firm and was promoted to lead the Estate and Financial Planning Advisory Group for Morgan Stanley Private Wealth. My career with Morgan Stanley has allowed me to grow throughout my career -- in different roles and in different cities; it’s even allowed me to expand my skills and education at the firm’s expense (Morgan Stanley paid for my Masters in Business Administration).

For years, I have been passionate about “Investing with Impact,” which affords investors the opportunity to seek market rate returns by investing in companies that contribute to the greater good of society. I manage my own financial assets with a focus on ESG factors and related issues. I am among an exclusive group of advisors who have earned the firm’s highly coveted designation of Impact Director. In this position, I advise like-minded clients who want to align their portfolios with their core values and principles.
Planning the sale of a business for private business owners

As a Certified Exit Planning Advisor, I help private business owners develop a financial plan for the sale of the business, and assist in building the advisory team needed to optimize post liquidity after tax wealth.

I strongly believe it is a privilege to have the opportunity to give back to the community. I have been fortunate to lead various nonprofit organizations, including the Women Founders Network, The Women Founders Education Foundation and Advisors in Philanthropy Los Angeles. I have received numerous honors for my volunteerism. I am particularly proud of the recognition I received in 2012 from California Women Lead, as one of the most impactful women in California. Also, in 2021, I received the Visionary Award from the Southern California Leadership Network for my work with Morgan Stanley, Investing with Impact as well as for my contributions as Co-Founder of the Women Founders Network, which includes 5,000 women focused on supporting women founders in building scalable businesses.
