My Story

For over 41 years I have lent my knowledge and experience to families, businesses, and institutions across the country, helping build legacies of generational wealth throughout every stage of life. As my client, your trust is my first priority, and to that end I take great care in seeking answers to the questions you may have.

How do I define success? Success is finding out which college your little girl or boy chooses, and knowing that the financial planning we have done will help fund their education. Success is hanging their high school and college graduation announcements on my wall every May and June. Success is receiving the call from a client who has decided to retire, knowing that this decision started decades ago with a financial plan. Success is helping families navigate loss, in all its forms, through risk management and estate planning strategies. And greatest of all, success is celebrating your accomplishments and milestones with you – graduations, weddings, retirement celebrations and so much more.

My greatest reward as your advisor is in helping you discover financial freedom by integrating comprehensive financial planning into the fabric of your life.

3Investors should consider many factors before deciding which 529 plan is appropriate. Some of these factors include: the Plan’s investment options and the historical investment performance of these options, the Plan’s flexibility and features, the reputation and expertise of the Plan’s investment manager, Plan contribution limits and the federal and state tax benefits associated with an investment in the Plan. Some states, for example, offer favorable tax treatment and other benefits to their residents only if they invest in the state’s own Qualified Tuition Program. Investors should determine their home state’s tax treatment of 529 plans when considering whether to choose an in-state or out-of-state plan. Investors should consult with their tax or legal advisor before investing in any 529 Plan or contact their state tax division for more information. Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC does not provide tax and/or legal advice. Investors should review a Program Disclosure Statement, which contains more information on investment options, risk factors, fees and expenses and possible tax consequences.
