Christina's story

For more than two decades, I have developed results-driven wealth management strategies for affluent individuals and families, institutional and corporate fiduciaries, not-for-profit organizations, foundations and endowments. My investment philosophy and methodology are centered on my clients’ specific needs, objectives and circumstances. And, as a senior partner at The Parks Group at Morgan Stanley Graystone Consulting, I strive to offer my clients the personalized service one expects from a small investment practice, backed by the global resources of Morgan Stanley.

Substantial wealth brings a different set of responsibilities, challenges and complexity. I provide access to family office resources for individual clients with significant means to help integrate their philanthropic and lifestyle goals with complex wealth portfolios that span generations.

My team and I also focus in assisting institutions, corporations and not-for-profit organizations of all sizes with defined-contribution plans, defined-benefit plans, Taft-Hartley plans, foundations and endowments, and other institutional pools of assets. We focus on helping our clients save time, reduce personal liability, comply with fiduciary obligations and increase employee savings and satisfaction rates. As an Investing with Impact Director, I help our clients by creating and adhering to a disciplined strategy that focuses on Environmental Social Governance (ESG).

My experience has earned me the designation of Corporate Retirement Director (CRD), a credential that is held by about 2% of Morgan Stanley Financial Advisors as of December 2024. Along with the Certified 401(k) Professional (C(k)P™) designation, it represents the pinnacle of achievement for professional Retirement Plan Advisors. I draw on these designations to help guide institutional clients through the maze of complex financial issues that are unique to retirement plans and the ERISA rules that govern them.

My client relationships are predicated on confidence and dedication. Whether individual or institutional, my clients rely on me to adapt quickly to their evolving needs and to provide fresh, strategies that can help them navigate complex situations and meet their objectives.

Awards and Background

I grew up in Detroit as the youngest of three children in a Chinese-American family. My mother passed away when I was young and I quickly learned to be independent, resourceful and self-sufficient, attributes I try to pass along to my clients. After earning a baccalaureate degree from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, I began my career as a Financial Advisor at Dean Witter. I joined Merrilll Lynch in 1990 and joined Morgan Stanley in 2000. I was the managing partner of the Strada/McRoberts Team at Morgan Stanley’s Honolulu branch until I joined the Parks Group at Graystone Consulting in 2018.

Outside of work, I am a member of the Always Dream and Hawaii International Film Festival (HIFF)’s Board of Directors. I enjoy jazz music, dancing to Motown music, traveling and watching films with my husband.
