My Story and Services

A Morgan Stanley veteran of over 30 years, Brannan Vaughan crafts comprehensive wealth management strategies for both individual and corporate investors. A designated Senior Portfolio Management Director, Brannan focuses on portfolio evaluation and asset allocation and serves as the point of contact for retirement planning for corporations and affluent families. In his role as Corporate Stock Plan Director and Corporate Client Group Director, he also advises on 401(k) retirement plans, deferred compensation programs, corporate cash management and restricted securities.

Brannan graduated from the University of Californian at Davis with a B.S. in managerial economics in 1992, while captaining the university’s Ski team. He has pursued opportunities to expand his financial expertise ever since, earning designations as an Executive Financial Services Director, Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist C(k)P, and Certified 401(k) Professional. Brannan was recognized by Financial Times as one of their Top 401 Retirement Advisors in 2015 and 2016, and he is currently celebrating his 20th year as a member of Morgan Stanley’s exclusive President’s Club.

Committed to his community and his industry, Brannan was a founding lecturer of the UCLA Anderson School of Management Executive Education’s Retirement Advisor University™. He is active in the National Ski Patrol as a senior-level patroller and instructor and currently is on the Board of Directors for the Silicon Valley International School in Menlo Park & Palo Alto.

Brannan lives in Atherton, California with his wife, Laura, and their three sons. An avid traveler, Brannan has visited over 90 countries. His other interests include cooking, golf, tennis, skiing, history and archaeology.
