About Douglas Wilson
Douglas Wilson is a financial services veteran with over 30 years of experience as a Financial Advisor serving the unique needs of his diverse group of clients. Over the course of his career, Doug has sought to be not only an advisor to his clients, but an educator who is able to explain both what is being done to plan for their financial futures and, more importantly, why these steps are being taken. For this reason Doug has found that many of his relationships have lasted the full course of his career and he is proud to say that many children and grandchildren of clients have become clients themselves.
Doug’s career in financial advisory in Worcester began in 1987 at Shearson Lehman Brothers, where he quickly learned the fixed income skills that he would later develop into the all-encompassing practice that he operates today. After a series of industry moves and acquisitions, Doug spent most of his career at Legg Mason and UBS before joining Morgan Stanley in 2020. Throughout this time, he has built his practice upon the cornerstone of constant communication with clients. This allows him the flexibility to continually tailor their financial plans to compensate for changing life circumstances, ultimately ensuring that they are never off-track on the path to reaching their goals.
Outside of work, Doug is an avid sports fan and enjoys golf, reading and staying active. He and his wife split time between their homes in Worcester and Naples, Florida. They have two daughters, one of whom lives in Stamford, CT, with her husband and three children, while the other is in Los Angeles, CA, working at UCLA Medical as a Nurse Anesthetist.
