Our Story and Services

Wealth Management for Life

As the financial world becomes more complex, careful planning and tailored, objective advice becomes even more important to achieving your goals. Having a seasoned advisory team on your side can help simplify your financial life, so you can spend more time enjoying the wealth you’ve worked so hard to achieve.

At The Weiser Group, we offer a personalized approach to wealth management. Since 1984, we have been serving the specialized needs of high net worth families, professionals and business owners in Stamford and across the country. We have acquired the knowledge and skills necessary to serve as your single point of contact. Above all, as a family advisory practice, we offer the continuity and a balance of perspectives that help you – and your children – make more informed, confident decisions about your wealth now and in the future.

We believe wealth is about more than investments and how you manage your money. It’s about your life and the people and interests that give your life meaning. Our comprehensive and consultative approach focuses on your full financial picture – from preparing for retirement and caring for aging parents, to gifting strategies for causes important to you.

When you work with us, you will experience a fully-engaged standard of care that prioritizes your best interests and reflects your family values. We are committed to earning your trust and confidence every day through a powerful combination of experience, education and empathy.

At the Weiser Group, we have a "client first mindset." Each conversation allows us to develop a deeper understanding of you and your priorities. We are committed to developing longstanding relationships that can potentially provide value to you and the generations that follow.

Retirement assets, equity compensation and insurance policies should not be managed as separate entities, but as vital components of your overall financial picture. We consult with your accountant, attorney and other professionals to build a cohesive plan to help ensure all your assets are integrated and focused on achieving the same goals.

We believe our clients do best when they fully understand and are comfortable with their investments and how they fit into the bigger picture. Therefore, we are committed to providing ongoing education – in easy-to-understand language.

About Santo Borsellino

Santo brings with him nearly thirty years of business, finance and financial services experience. Having worked in numerous capacities in the financial services industry, Santo provides a comprehensive level of service and perspective.
A graduate of Pace University’s Lubin School of Business with a B.A. in public accounting, Santo began his career as a mutual fund accountant with Dean Witter tracking day to day operations of various funds as well as internal audits of fund prospectuses. He then spent three years with Furman Selz, a boutique institutional trading firm, where he tracked firm trading activity and provided risk analysis for trading accounts covering: equities, fixed income, derivatives, foreign currency, and convertible arbitrage. In 1997, he left Wall Street to run a family owned mortgage company where for the next 13 years provided financing for thousands of residential as well as commercial clients.
