Our Story and Services

On October 19th, 1987, the stock market had the largest one-day market crash in history. The Dow lost 22.6% of its value in a matter of hours.* It was all over the news, many people were panicking. Page Tinsley was 17 years old and remembers the day clearly because that evening he was with his Step-Father, Tom Norby, who was a prominent Financial Advisor in Charlotte. Page had a million questions: What had caused the crash? Were clients worried? What would he advise his clients to do? And with question after question, the one thing that amazed him was how Tom answered every single question calmly, thoughtfully, and confidently. Page thought to himself, wow, someday when I have money I want someone just like him looking out for me.

A few years out of college, Page followed in his Step-Father’s footsteps and joined Morgan Stanley in 2000 as a Financial Advisor. Tom was his mentor and they soon formed a team, working as a family and partners building multi-generational relationships with individuals and families until Tom’s death in 2009.

Today Page work’s with his wife and fellow Financial Advisor, Indira Tinsley. Before becoming a Financial Advisor Indira was also dedicated to helping families where she worked at the Levine Children’s Specialty Center in Charlotte as a Medical Interpreter.

The world of finance grows ever more complex and few have the time or inclination to sift through all the information available to us. In the Tinsley Group, this is our life’s work and study and we bring to you, not only our own knowledge and decades of experience, but also the considerable knowledge and resources of Morgan Stanley, a firm we are proud to work for. We have extensive experience in not only in managing wealth, but in managing risk as well.

Meet The Tinsley Group

About R. Page Tinsley

Page is a Vice President, Financial Advisor, and Senior Portfolio Manager who has dedicated his career to helping his clients make more intelligent decisions about their money and investments. He has over 24 years of knowledge and experience as a Financial Advisor helping to fulfill the unique requirements of families, business executives, business owners, professionals, and retirees while successfully guiding them through the markets most volatile times.

Page received a Bachelor of Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 1994 and worked in management in the corporate aviation industry for four years until joining Morgan Stanley in 2000.

Page is actively involved in several car clubs including the BMW Car Club of America where he is a National Certified Driving Instructor and teaches advanced driving skills at club events. He also teaches teenage drivers accident avoidance skills at teen driving schools.

A Charlotte native, Page lives with his wife, Indira, and has three children, Indira, Martina and Fernando. In his spare time, Page loves mountain biking, exercise, and travel.

About Indira Tinsley

Indira is originally from Guayaquil, Ecuador, the oldest of four siblings. Her mother, an Attorney, has been Indira’s greatest inspiration because of her generosity and tireless work ethic. Indira grew up watching her single mother provide not only for her family, but also help other families through her profession and by making a positive impact on everyone that crossed her path. Even though they didn’t have much, Indira’s mother was always happy to share with those less fortunate. Indira later followed her mother’s footsteps and studied law in Ecuador.

Twenty four years ago, Indira made the difficult decision to come to the United States to build a better life for her family. Here in Charlotte, she found the opportunity to help the rapidly growing Hispanic community. Before coming to Morgan Stanley, Indira was a medical interpreter at The Levine Children’s Specialty Center where she worked closely with chronically ill children and their family’s being treated there.

She came to Morgan Stanley in 2017 where she is a Financial Advisor working with her husband, Page Tinsley, in The Tinsley Group at Morgan Stanley. Within the team, Indira focuses on comprehensive financial planning, helping families and individuals be prepared for life events so that they can focus on the things most important in their lives.

Indira is very active in the community. She has served as a board member of RAIN, a charitable organization supporting people and families affected by HIV. And she is a member of the Latin American Chamber of Commerce, LGTB Chamber of Commerce, and various Women’s organizations.

She lives in Charlotte with her husband Page and has three children, Indira, Martina, and Fernando. In her spare time she loves to travel the world to experience and learn from different cultures, to eat good food, and to exercise.

Originally from Columbus, OH, Leslie joined The Tinsley Group in 2024.
