As the leader of a group at Morgan Stanley, Kent has demonstrated professional knowledge and experience in several areas including strategic allocation, traditional and alternative investment selection, liabilities and lending assessment, estate and trust planning strategies, philanthropic services, life insurance, risk assessment and investment banking.

Kent and his team provide the strategies and potential solutions to clients to help prepare for the financial objectives and challenges that can occur with each milestone in life. At the core is a commitment to a high level of personalized service founded on responsiveness and efficient complex problem-solving.

Kent earned his B.A. from Elon University. Formerly, he served in Elon Alumni Board from 2011-2015 and on the Pro Bono Counseling Project Board from 2015-2019.

Brad’s parents worked tirelessly to give him and his sister the best life and education they could. Even at a young age, he could sense that this called “money” often caused stress and tension in the household. He recalls thinking, “If I could just figure out how it worked, then I could help not only my own family – but everyone else’s too.”

After enrolling at Virginia Tech, he was excited to find that their nationally ranked Personal Financial Planning program could help him do just that.

Brad’s career began with internships and roles alongside successful advisors who taught him both the art and science of wealth management. He climbed the ranks at Morgan Stanley – earning all his licenses, and becoming a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®. Today, he serves as a Partner on one of the top advisory teams in the state.

Outside the office, you’ll find Brad running around the Inner Harbor, at the gym, or cheering on the Hokies and Ravens. He’s also a golfer and action sports enthusiast – riding motorcycles, snowboarding, and wakeboarding. Brad finds deep purpose in giving back, especially through Special Olympics Maryland, where he coaches soccer and leads the Morgan Stanley team in fundraising for the annual Polar Bear Plunge.

A graduate of West Virginia University, Steve earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. He began his career with Metropolitan Life, advising clients on mutual fund investments and retirement planning strategies. He’s been a financial advisor with Morgan Stanley since 2007, previously working for Dean Witter and A.G. Edwards and Sons.

Drawing on his Senior Portfolio Manager and Certified Financial Planner™ designations, Steve works closely with clients to help develop highly customized financial plans and investment strategies. Whether guiding clients through retirement, estate planning strategies, or gifting solutions, Steve aims to fully understand each client’s goals, vision, and values so he can translate those intangibles into a meaningful wealth management plan. About Jason Zapalski

Jason Zapalski is a Vice President, Portfolio Management Director, and Financial Advisor with Morgan Stanley. With more than 20 years of financial services experience, Jason focuses on creating customized investment strategies and financial planning solutions.

Jason graduated cum laude from the University of Miami and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. Since college, he knew he wanted to be in portfolio management to help people make the most of their hard-earned money. Jason joined Morgan Stanley in 2003. He earned his Certified Financial PlannerTM designation in 2007 so that he could better serve clients by integrating all aspects of the financial planning process – including retirement planning, investment management, and estate planning.

As a Senior Portfolio Manager, Jason believes that the most successful investments are those that help clients reach their goals and protect what they have. He began to understand this on a more personal level after the birth of his son, which strengthened his commitment to the financial planning process. That’s why Jason strives for a deep understanding of his clients’ needs and objectives right from the start. He then builds customized financial plans and investment portfolios, monitors them closely, and adjusts as needed. Jason also oversees asset allocations and alternative investment models, and works closely with Stephen Macko to develop customized estate planning strategies for the team’s clients.

Originally from southeast Michigan, Jason has called southwest Florida home for more than twenty years. Jason is married to his high school sweetheart, Tania, and when not in the office enjoys spending time with his wife and son, watching and playing sports with his family, and leisure time boating.

About M. Antonio Alcala, CFP®

Tony Alcala is an Assistant Vice President and Business Development Director. He has 26 years of experience in the financial industry and over 24 years with Morgan Stanley and predecessor companies. Tony believes in the fundamental importance of evaluating a client’s full financial picture to best align their resources with their goals. He is responsible for implementing financial plans that help our clients attain the lifestyle they aspire to. His goal, he says, is to deliver a first-class experience to all of the team’s clients. He is Series 7, 63, 65 and 31 licensed and holds his Life and Health Insurance licenses as well. Additionally, Tony is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional which identifies financial professionals that have committed themselves to a high level of wealth planning advice, continuing education and ethical conduct. Tony earned his B.A. at Towson University and is fluent in Spanish.

About Marissa Bennett

Marissa Bennett, CFA is an Assistant Vice President and Portfolio Management Associate with The Strosnider Dudderar Group at Morgan Stanley.

Marissa graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors from Towson University where she earned her B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. She started as an intern on the team in 2015 and transitioned to a full-time role upon graduation.

Marissa’s role includes investment manager research, portfolio construction and management. She is responsible for crafting investment strategies that are specifically tailored to help meet each client’s financials goals and needs. She also conducts ongoing asset allocation modeling, analysis of portfolio holdings and performs various performance reporting functions.

Marissa holds the Series 7, Series 66 and Life & Health Insurance licenses. In addition, she obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst, (CFA®) designation.

Marissa currently resides with her husband and daughter in Hampstead. In her spare time, she enjoys golfing, interior design, cooking and spending time with her family and dog.

About Kim Gould

Kim is a Registered Client Service Associate and holds her Series 7 and 66 licenses. She began her career at Legg Mason in 1998 and has over 25 years experience in the financial industry. Kim manages the operational functions for the Strosnider Dudderar Wealth Management Group and handles a number of duties including client onboarding, estate and trust processing, account transfers, gifting, lending operations and retirement account support. She works closely with clients and our financial advisors to provide timely and coordinated account services.

Kim was very active in her local community having served on PTA and Recreation Council Boards and working in scouting programs over the 20 years her children were involved.

She resides in Carroll County and enjoys spending time with her four adult children and young grandson. She also keeps busy with her two rescued dogs and working with the elderly in Towson, MD.

About Thomas Finney

A local grown Baltimorean, Thomas appreciates the ‘Smalltimore’ aspect of the city and the uniqueness thereby associated. He graduated from the University of Delaware with a B.S in Chemistry along with a minor in Economics and decided to pursue a path in the financial world where he now serves as a Client Service Associate for the Strosnider Dudderar Wealth Management Group at Morgan Stanley.

Thomas Finney is a Registered Client Service Associate. He is fully licensed with the Series 7 and 66.

Currently, Thomas lives in Towson and spends much time with his friends and family. In his spare time, he loves working out, attending Hunt Valley Horsepower, and enjoying a good book.

About Demetri Karagiorgis

Demetri grew up in the Baltimore area and always knew that he wanted to stay local. He recently graduated from Salisbury University with a B.S in Finance. As a Client Service Associate for the Strosnider Dudderar Wealth Management Group at Morgan Stanley, Demetri can bridge his love of finance with client interaction.

He is working on becoming registered and will be taking his Series 7 and 66 in the coming months.

Demetri currently lives in Towson with his two dogs. In his spare time, Demetri enjoys golfing, fishing, and spending time with family.

About Holden Cantrell

Holden is originally from Charlotte, NC, but moved to Baltimore in March of 2023. He studied finance and accounting at Clemson University, before transferring to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where he graduated in 2018 with a B.A. in Political Science and Economics. Holden recently decided to pursue a path in the financial world where he now serves as a Client Service Associate for the Strosnider Dudderar Wealth Management Group at Morgan Stanley.

He is working on becoming registered and will be taking his Series 7 and 66 in the coming months.
Holden currently lives with his wife Amanda and their cat Misha. In his spare time, Holden enjoys golfing, hiking, and tennis.
