    2. Get To Know You Meeting

We continue the dialogue by fostering an in-depth conversation where we learn about the values that shape your decisions and identify any unique circumstances. We also review the documents you've prepared and define your priorities.

About Harrison W. Smith

As the son of financial advisor, Bill Smith, Harry has experienced firsthand the powerful impact a trusting relationship and comprehensive plan can have on a client’s future. Having honed his financial planning skills through extensive training and creating customized plans for senior Morgan Stanley financial advisors, Harry now helps successful individuals and their families maintain the financial independence they’ve worked their whole lives to achieve.

Through working with Harry Smith, you will get a financial coach who goes beyond your investment portfolio to understand the purpose of your wealth and provides white glove service that forms the basis of a long-term relationship. Harry’s role is not to maximize your return potential, as many investment firms like to emphasize, but help you understand the importance of risk management and sticking to a well thought plan. As Harry’s father has taught him, these are the keys to achieving positive outcomes.

A native of Portland, Maine, Harry serves as a financial advisor working primarily with pre-retiree clients in the Boston area and Maine. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2017, Harry spent two years as a financial representative and workplace planner for Fidelity Investments. He believes that working as part of a team has been a key to his success thus far. Harry lettered in football, basketball and lacrosse in high school before being recruited to play football at Hampden Sydney College, where he played safety for four years. Away from work, Harry enjoys volunteering with the Boys & Girls Club of Boston and hitting the slopes at Sugarloaf.

Harry has also been awarded numerous industry recognitions. From 2022-2024, Harry was named to the Morgan Stanley Pacesetter's Club. The Firm's Pacesetter's Club is a global recognition program for Financial Advisors who have demonstrated the highest professional standards, and world-class client service earlier on in their careers. Additionally, in 2024, Harry was named a Five Star Wealth Manager by Five Star Professional. This award holds a high reputation within the industry because selected managers do not self-nominate or pay any fees to be considered for or receive recognition.
