Julie graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1987, earning a Bachelor of Science in Economics, majoring in Finance and Accounting. She received her MBA from Harvard Business School in 1991.

Julie began her career in 1987 as a Financial Analyst in Drexel Burnham Lambert’s Beverly Hill’s office. In 1991, she joined Goldman Sachs where she spent the next decade working closely with institutional clients in the firm’s Investment Banking and Institutional Equities divisions in New York and Chicago, rising to Vice President, before taking a few years off to raise her family. She joined Morgan Stanley in 2010.

Committed to constantly improving the quality of advice and range of services she can offer clients, she went on to earn designations as a Certified Financial Planner^® practitioner in 2013 and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst^® professional in 2021.

In 2019, Julie successfully completed Morgan Stanley’s highly selective and rigorous Family Wealth Director Program. This prestigious designation, held by approximately 5 percent of Morgan Stanley advisors, enables her to better assist clients with business succession planning, asset allocation, manager selection, wealth transfer, family financial dynamics, philanthropy and other important areas of concern.

Julie also achieved admittance to Morgan Stanley’s exclusive Alternative Investments Director Designation Program in 2019. Alternative investments, for those investors for which they’re appropriate, are investments other than stocks, bonds or cash and include assets such as private equity, private real estate, private credit, hedge funds and venture capital.

In 2021, Julie completed Morgan Stanley’s Investing with Impact Director Designation Program. Also in 2021, she became a Morgan Stanley Workplace Advisor for Equity Compensation to help clients align their equity compensation strategy with their broader financial goals. In 2025, Julie earned the designation of Lending Specialist enabling her to better assist clients in evaluating liquidity solutions to complement existing investment strategies.

Julie is the founder, past president and proud supporter of Friends of Youth Services, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to helping at-risk youth in her local community. She also serves on the board of the Kohl Children's Museum.

In January 2024, Julie was honored to be selected as a member of Morgan Stanley’s MAKERS class in the category of lifetime achievement. A North Shore native, Julie lives in Glenview with her husband, Bradley. They have four children, Madeline, Nick, Angela, and Blake, all of whom graduated from the University of Michigan. Go Blue! Nick, Angela and Blake currently work in New York City and Madeline currently resides in Hong Kong with her fiancé, Alex. Julie is obsessed with lifting weights with her trainer, Joey, playing paddle tennis at Valley Lo and listening to books on Audible. She is an active member of Chief, a private network of women executive leaders.

Reed joined Morgan Stanley in 2018 and The Shechtman Group in 2021. In 2023, Reed earned his designations as a Certified Financial Planner^® practitioner and Workplace Advisor - Equity Compensation professional. He is also a Financial Advisor, Financial Planning Specialist, and a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst^® professional. He holds his FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses.

Since joining The Shechtman Group, Reed and Julie have built a true partnership. They have created a client service model where both are involved in every aspect of the decision-making process. They are dedicated to bringing the full breadth of the firm's services to each client.

In addition to his financial advisor responsibilities, as the team's "Chief of Staff," Reed's primary focus is to help ensure the team provides exceptional client service, exceeding all expectations. He takes pride in leading a cohesive team whose members bring passion and commitment to their work helping clients navigate their financial lives and pursue the outcomes they desire.

Within The Shechtman Group, Reed takes the lead on client onboarding, 401K operations, and insurance and annuity planning. He also performs the modeling for client financial plans - performing analysis and establishing strategies to help clients achieve their financial goals. He works enthusiastically to assist clients in adopting Morgan Stanley's digital and cyber technologies into the team's practice.

Before joining The Shechtman Group, Reed spent two years learning the mechanics of being a financial advisor as an analyst at Morgan Stanley, working with roughly 150 Financial Advisors and developing over 1,000 financial plans. Importantly, now with Julie's mentorship, he is mastering the art of turning clients into raving fans.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Reed spent three years as a sales consultant with the Leman Automotive Group in Central Illinois while earning his bachelor's degree in Finance from Illinois State University in 2017.

Reed currently resides in Gurnee with his wife Maddie, dog, Scooby, and cat, Edgar. In his free time, you can find Reed golfing at Kenosha Country Club, working around his house, spending time with his family, or giving back through his involvement in the Kenosha County Suicide Prevention Group.

Ana is a Registered Client Relationship Analyst with The Shechtman Group, having joined the team in November 2022. As a registered service professional, Ana holds her FINRA Series 6, 7, 63 and 66 licenses.

With over 18 years of financial industry experience, most recently being a Client Service Associate for UBS and JPMorgan, Ana brings a wealth of knowledge on industry practices and procedures.

Ana oversees the timely delivery of client tax documents and is the liaison with client CPAs, while also leading alternative investment subscriptions, redemptions and transfer processing. She also serves as a Service Coach for the Chicago North Market.

Ana attended the College of Lake County and resides in Grayslake with her two children, toy poodle Sandy and cat Matilda. In her free time, Ana enjoys completing DIY home improvement projects, music concerts, and reading. Ana is also fluent in Spanish and plans to learn Italian and Portuguese.

Rochelle is a Registered Client Relationship Analyst with The Shechtman Group. She joined the team and Morgan Stanley in October 2022 and holds her FINRA Series 7, 63 and 65 licenses.

Rochelle is primarily responsible for onboarding new clients and assisting them through the account opening and asset transfer process.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Rochelle spent 22 years at Northern Trust in a variety of client service and sales support roles in investments and private banking. She graduated with a B.S. in Business Management from Northeastern Illinois University.

Rochelle currently resides in Winthrop Harbor with her husband, two children and two Yorkshire Terriers, Georgie and Demi. She loves to landscape and has spent many years developing her backyard into a nature sanctuary. Rochelle also enjoys spending time with her family and friends at classic car shows.

Tina is Group Director of The Shechtman Group. She joined the team and Morgan Stanley in May 2022. As a registered service professional, Tina holds her FINRA Series 7, 63 and 65 licenses. In her role, Tina helps shape and run the team’s client service model. She oversees day-to-day business operations, team efficiencies, process adoption and the team’s marketing and communications strategy.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Tina spent six years with lululemon where she was responsible for raising brand awareness, increasing community connection, and bringing company initiatives alive through original programming, impactful events, team enrollment, and strategic partnerships. Prior to lululemon, Tina worked in public affairs developing and implementing programs for clients representing the telecommunications, tourism, education, and retail industries as well as nonprofit and government agencies.

A Wisconsin native, Tina graduated from Vanderbilt University. She has spent the last 23 years raising her three children on the North Shore. In her free time, she enjoys golf, mahjongg, historic preservation, and stand-up comedy.

Mason is a Wealth Management Analyst with The Shechtman Group. He joined in August 2024 and holds his FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses. In 2026, Mason earned his designation as a Certified Financial Planner^® practitioner and assists with portfolio and performance reporting, research and analysis, and assists clients through the retirement rollover process.

Prior to joining The Shechtman Group, Mason spent time at Morgan Stanley and William Blair reviewing planning strategies, designing investment allocations, and developing client relationships.

Mason graduated with a B.S. in Finance from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. Unfortunately, he was out of school by the time the football team became competitive. Originally from Wilmette, IL, he now resides in downtown Chicago. In his free time, he enjoys going to concerts, playing tennis, and running the lakefront.
