Charting Your Financial Course

Our comprehensive financial planning process focuses on you and your family. Working together, we develop the strategies to get you there, navigating life’s challenges and helping you make more confident decisions about your finances and your future. Our process utilizes four steps:
    Icon Image
    1: Introduction & Discovery
Before we can provide customized financial advice, we need to understand your goals and situation. We begin by learning about you, your financial position, and your investment experience. We introduce our team and approach, and mutually determine if we all want to work together. We continue our dialogue to fully understand your personal, professional, and family dynamics, so we can clarify your priorities and timelines.
    Icon Image
    2: Analysis & Plan Presentation
Using your input as our guide, we utilize our financial planning tools to develop a personalized financial plan and investment portfolio with specific recommendations to help you grow, preserve and transfer your wealth. This includes an asset allocation strategy that aligns your investments with your goals, your timeframes, and your risk level.
    Icon Image
    3: Implementation
Upon your approval, we implement the strategies outlined in the plan. Once assets have been transferred to Morgan Stanley and are aligned with your investment strategy, we walk you through your new statement and introduce the many resources now available to you (see “Tools and Resources” tab).
    Icon Image
    4: Ongoing Service
We are committed to developing longstanding relationships that provide special value to you and your family. We speak with you regularly to provide updates on your accounts. We also monitor progress towards each of your goals, adjusting your plan accordingly as changes in your life occur. When things change, we update your plan and reposition your assets to reflect life’s changes.

Awards and Recognition

Throughout our careers, we have been honored to receive a number of prominent awards from both national and industry sources. We are proud of these achievements – not just for their own sake, but because we believe they show how committed we are to our clients in helping them achieve their financial goals now and across generations.

Giving Back

At The Salvetti Streich Group, we are a close-knit team of seasoned professionals. We value loyalty to each other and to the individuals, families and organizations we serve every day. We have deep roots in our community and a deeper commitment to sustaining its character for future generations. Through a variety of efforts, we are highly engaged in creating a better and brighter future. Here are a few highlights of some activities we’ve participated in over the years – both at the office and in our communities – to make our world a better place.

    Angel Tree
Every year since December 2020, Meg coordinated the office "Angel Tree” for the Main Street Child Development Center in Fairfax, VA. The Main Street Center provides pre-K education to 150 children from low income families and assists their parents in finding and maintaining full-time work. Meg helped purchase, wrap, and deliver Christmas gifts for 90 local children. Jared began helping facilitate in 2014 and Meg took over in 2020.

    Food4Thought
In October 2021, the team met in the office to pack lunches for Food4Thought in Fairfax County Public Schools. This program provides healthy meals for weekends to children who receive free or reduced-price meals during school days. For many of these children, school meals might be the only ones they receive. About Jared P Salvetti

A Certified Financial Planner, Senior Portfolio Manager, and founding partner of The Salvetti Streich Group, Jared has dedicated his career to serving the specialized needs of individuals and families who have accumulated a higher level of wealth. His extensive background -- combined with his results-driven approach -- has earned him industry recognition. Most recently, he was named to the Forbes List of “Top Next Generation Wealth Advisors” list in 2018 and 2019. Growing up in Northern Virginia, Jared had an interest in finance and always enjoyed helping others. Pursuing a career in financial services was the perfect opportunity to bring these two passions together. After earning his Accounting and Information Systems degree from Virginia Tech, Jared joined Deloitte and Touche as a Corporate Auditor. While he enjoyed what he did, Jared knew something was missing; he wanted to have more of an impact on the quality of people’s lives. He made an important decision that would change the trajectory of his career. He decided to become a Financial Advisor, joining Smith Barney, a predecessor firm of Morgan Stanley, in 2006. Jared has been an invaluable member of the Morgan Stanley family ever since.

Today, Jared draws upon his vast industry knowledge to provide clients with customized financial plans and tailored investment portfolios. He enjoys solving problems for clients and sharing insights from others who have experienced similar challenges in life and business. About Meg Gargulinski

As a Financial Advisor and Financial Planning Specialist at The Salvetti Streich Group, Meg’s top priority is to help her clients navigate all aspects of their financial lives – from putting children through college and preparing for retirement to caring for aging parents and protecting their family after they are gone. She believes successful people all share a common bond: They encounter important life events that require timely guidance to help them make the right financial decisions for themselves, their careers, and their families. Meg wants to be there each step of the way.

Growing up in Gaithersburg, Meg learned about the power of financial planning at the age of eight when her grandfather passed away. She saw firsthand the challenges that can occur when there is no estate plan to properly distribute assets, and the enduring familial strife that can occur as a result. This experience led her to pursue a career in finance. Meg attended Franciscan University of Steubenville, where she earned her B.S. degree in Economics, with minors in Accounting and Spanish. It was during a conversation with her accounting professor, who listened to her story and suggested becoming a financial planner, that set her on a path to becoming a Financial Advisor. Meg joined Morgan Stanley in 2016 as a Wealth Advisor Associate and two years later joined Jared Salvetti and Ingrid Streich as a Financial Advisor on their team.

With an emphasis on financial planning and risk management strategies, Meg enjoys working with like-minded clients who value and appreciate the highest level of service she delivers. Her goals-based process begins with asking the right questions and actively listening. This ongoing dialogue serves as the foundation for the development of a comprehensive plan that reflects each client’s goals for the future. Meg receives great satisfaction knowing she is making a significant impact on the quality of her clients’ lives and often becomes one of the most important relationships to their families.

Today, Meg lives in Bethesda and enjoys spending time with her parents and siblings, who all live in the Washington D.C. area. A former D3 lacrosse player in college, Meg continues her love for the sport, playing in the summer and coaching all year long. During the spring, she coaches at Oakcrest School in Vienna and during the fall, winter and summer, she coaches at Next Level Lacrosse in Bethesda. Meg is also on the Alumni Board of her high school and in her free time enjoys reading political thrillers, working out, and researching the latest in fitness wearables.
