Raising the Bar

CLIENT
You, the client, are the first priority in our decision making process.

DISCOVERY
To make certain we deliver on our client first commitment, we ask that you educate us. Through a rigorous discovery process, we consult with and actively listen to you. This allows us to form a deep understanding of your goals.

BOUTIQUE PRACTICE
We have found we can elevate our level of service by limiting the number of clients per advisor. This frees each advisor to further customize the advice of our boutique practice, and leverage the vast resources of a global financial leader.

CONTINUITY
Mr. Prattos and Mr. Jones formed the Group nearly 20 years ago after working together previously in the trust company of a major U.S. Bank. As the group adds select professionals, and delivers a truly differentiated client experience, we are perfectly positioned to deliver on our goal of raising the bar.

About Russell Jones

Russ Jones has spent over twenty years gathering the skills and experience needed to help successful families address their lives and legacies. As the Family Wealth Director of the Prattos Jones Group at Morgan Stanley, he has received advanced training and resources in: Family Governance, Succession
Planning, Lifestyle Advisory, Philanthropy, and Health Care Advisory. Family wealth services include, and extend well beyond, investment management services; clients also gain access to other accomplished professionals, both within Morgan Stanley and through relationships with carefully vetted third parties in key specialty professions.

Prior to forming the Prattos Jones Group with Mr. Prattos some 20 years ago, his focus was high net worth families, endowments, pensions, and other retirement plans at two of the U.S.’s major trust companies. While institutional clients such as pension plans, insurance companies and endowments remain
a substantial part of the Group’s business, Russ’ current emphasis is in the family wealth area.

Giving back to the community is a primary goal for all Group members. For Russ, the focus is at-risk children. He has served on the Board of the Children’s Home Society, Northeast Florida for over 10 years and routinely volunteers at related fund-raising events benefiting at-risk children. In 2019, he was asked to
join the Florida State Board of Children's Home Society. The organization is one of the largest not-for-profit organizations in the Southeastern USA.

Away from the office, you will likely find Russ playing tennis with wife Debbie and friends. Golf and flying are next after tennis, but not moving up the list. Russ and Debbie’s children are grown, so Russ and Debbie visit them around the country as time allows. Home is the Coastal Oaks community in Ponte Vedra.
