Asset Allocation and Portfolio Planning

I will work with you using a process that focuses on you and your goals, integrating investment decisions with your immediate financial needs and desired aspirations. This process encompasses four steps:

    Before I can advise you, I must understand you and your goals. I will guide you through an extensive discovery process to identify your objectives, time horizon, tolerance for risk and other considerations that may play a role in shaping your investment strategy.

    2) Asset Allocation and Portfolio Planning

    Your input drives the development of a personalized financial strategy. Designed to help you meet your specific needs, it addresses areas such as retirement, education expenses, and tax minimization potential. When my analysis is complete, I will present to you an investment strategy that helps to identify appropriate diversification for your portfolio.

    After I have refined your strategy, I will work closely with you to bring the elements to life. Should we decide that outside money managers are appropriate for you, I will help you select from the hundreds of investment management firms available to you. If you prefer to invest in individual securities, I can help identify specific stocks, bonds and other securities that may be suitable for your portfolio.

    I view ongoing communication as the foundation of our successful collaboration with you. I will make every effort to keep abreast of your changing financial needs and provide viable strategies to help you meet them. This means reviewing your portfolio together at your request. When your circumstances change, I will work with you to revise your strategy and reposition your assets to reflect your new needs and goals.

The financial planning process begins with you, your investment objectives and your financial goals. My holistic approach encompasses all the elements of your financial life - your investments and your cash management needs - making sure they align with your goals and wealth management plan.

    Kathy Brinkman joined Morgan Stanley in 2022 and joins the Prattos Jones Group as a Senior Registered Client Service Associate. Kathy is a Florida native and has 12 years of industry experience. She started her career in the high net worth client service of a premier national service provider in Jacksonville, FL. She then transitioned to their Alpharetta, Georgia branch office to pursue a role in financial planning. In 2017, she joined a corporate division of another prominent financial firm where she worked with both high net worth participants and corporate clients that held their equity compensation plans at the firm. After living in Georgia for 7 years, she moved back to Florida in 2020 to be closer to family.

    Kathy received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The University of Florida, where she majored in Economics. She has also obtained her Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses. She married her husband, Nick, in 2019. They live in Fernandina Beach with their two dogs, Scout and Millie, and their cat, Murray. In her free time Kathy likes to spend time outdoors with her family, cooking, exercising, reading and the arts.

    Tiffany Cain joined Morgan Stanley in 2008. After several years as a Client Service Associate, she joined the Prattos Jones Group as a Senior CSA in 2011. In addition to her deep knowledge of the wealth management industry, Tiffany uses her strong interpersonal and communication skills to develop and enhance the client experience.

    Prior to joining the firm, Tiffany worked for thirteen years at two of the U.S.'s major securities firms. At each firm, she served in a variety of capacities, gaining extensive experience in operations, account management, and client services.

    A native of Jacksonville, Tiffany studied at the Concord Career Institute and now lives in Macclenny with her husband, Wayne. Together, Tiffany and Wayne have four adult sons. In addition to spending time with friends and family, Tiffany’s favorite things include Christmas, laughter, and glamour camping at Walt Disney World.

About Robert Mickler

Robert Mickler is a Private Banker serving Morgan Stanley Wealth Management offices in Florida and Georgia.

Private Bankers partner with Financial Advisors to develop a specialized approach for managing clients’ cash flow, liquidity and financing needs, leveraging our comprehensive suite of cash management and lending solutions.

Robert began his career in financial services in 1991, and joined Morgan Stanley in 2014. Prior to joining the firm, he held several positions with Merrill Lynch, most recently as a Resident Manager and Wealth Management Banker in the Global Wealth Management organization.

Robert is a graduate of Villanova University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Finance. He lives in Jacksonville, Florida with his wife and family. Outside of the office, enjoys playing golf, reading, and traveling.
