Creating Your Plan

To be truly effective, your plan must reflect the totality of your personal and financial life. Our role is to help ensure that your investment objectives are consistent with your financial concerns and your long-term goals.
    Icon Image
    Discovery
Our team would like to get to know you. At the onset, we will gather information about your current financial position. This includes your present investments, liabilities, social security and retirement plan projections. We will work to understand your current and future budgetary needs including your cost of living, major asset purchases, charitable giving and estate planning. This information will enable us to create your personalized “LifeView Financial Plan”.
    Icon Image
    Setting Goals
In our experience, most of our clients want to be confident that their investments will last their lifetime and that there will be a level of wealth to pass on to the next generation and/or charitable organizations. Other goals often include funding family educational needs, a second home purchase, eliminating debt and quality of life events (travel, weddings and other discretionary purchases). We will work with you to refine your financial goals and will utilize the projections in your personalized LifeView Financial Plan to determine if your goals can be achieved in the planned time horizon, or if other strategic actions need to be taken to close the gap.
    Icon Image
    Risk Tolerance
The longer life expectancies which we are enjoying dictate an extended time frame for investment strategies. However, preservation of principal and current cash flow remain key to any strategy. We will help you assess your risk tolerance which will lead to an asset allocation strategy for your portfolio. We believe that diversification between and within asset classes is an important component of asset allocation.
    Icon Image
    Creating & Implementing Your Strategy
After reviewing the financial plan results, our team will create a custom portfolio for your review and approval. The type and number of your investments will be dictated by your individual profile.
    Icon Image
    Ongoing Review & Monitoring
Your personal goals and objectives will continue to evolve over time. The financial markets also experience constant change. Our team is always available to discuss your questions and concerns. We will perform quarterly re-balancing of your portfolio. In addition, we will schedule an annual review meeting to update each other to ensure that the Pittsburgh Group is on track to meet your established goals and objectives.
