About Christopher N. Pipa

Christopher is a founding partner of the Pipa Tagliarino Group at Morgan Stanley. He joined the firm back in 2001 and is currently Senior Vice President of Wealth Management. Chris attended Iona University in New Rochelle, NY and graduated with his degree from the Hagan School of business. He also obtained the “Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor” designation, CRPC® from the College for Financial Planning.

Chris previously served on the board of directors and finance committee for the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra and currently volunteers as a coach for St Joseph’s School CYO girls basketball & Rochester Rattlers softball. In his spare time, Chris enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and skiing. He resides in the Rochester area with his wife and two children.

Nicholas is a founding partner of the Pipa Tagliarino Group at Morgan Stanley. He joined the firm back in 2001 and is currently Senior Vice President of Wealth Management. Nick holds a B.S. from Plattsburgh State University in Plattsburgh, NY.

Nick formerly served on the board of directors as the Treasurer of RapShaw Club Inc. in the Adirondacks. He was previously on the business planning committee at the Alzheimer’s Association of Rochester. He currently coaches soccer for the Pittsford Mustangs in Pittsford, NY. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife Lisa and their three sons, Mason, Max & Miles.

About William R. Blackmon

I've provided families with investment advice for north of 28 years and have been with Morgan Stanley since 1994. I graduated from Guilford College, a small Quaker school in North Carolina, with a degree in Economics. I’m married with two children; my wife Kathy works at the University of Rochester. I’m on the board of The Episcopal Senior Life Communities and am a member of the Pittsford Presbyterian Church, where I serve on the Stewardship Committee. I enjoy golf, cycling and vacationing in the FL Gulf Coast and the Adirondacks.

Most of my work involves retirement planning. When my Dad retired from Rochester Products in 1978, he received a pension from General Motors along with Social Security, so he and my Mom knew exactly how much they could afford to spend. Today, pensions are rare; most people have 401Ks and IRAs instead. With all the choices these plans offer, it can be challenging to construct a portfolio which meets the cash flow requirements your family will need once you retire. This makes professional advice more important than ever.

My process starts with understanding your objectives. John Resch grew up in Phelps, NY and graduated from Midlakes High School with High Honors. He went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics with a minor in Business Management from SUNY Geneseo. John began his career in the Financial Services Industry in 2000 where we worked at Bank of America in a number of roles, including Branch Manager and Premier Client Manager, where he managed over 300 high net worth households. He joined Morgan Stanley in 2011 as a Private Banker and in 2015 decided to move to the Geneva Office as a Financial Advisor. John brings his banking and lending experience to the team. He is also heavily focused on financial planning.

About Thomas J. Goebel

Tom has been with Morgan Stanley since 2021 and joined The Pipa Tagliarino Group in early 2022. He is coming from Morgan Stanley's operations department and previously worked at JP Morgan Chase. He obtained his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from SUNY Oswego and currently holds his Series 7 and 66 licenses. In his spare time, he likes to go out on his boat in Sodus bay.

About Marianne R. Piscitelli

Marianne Piscitelli was born and raised in Wisconsin and relocated to New York in 1973. She joined Morgan Stanley and its predecessor firms in 1999. Prior to that, she was Clerk-Treasurer for the Village of Seneca Falls. In her role as Senior Registered Associate, Marianne is focused on serving the families the team works with by deepening client relationships in order to effectively assist with their needs. Her extensive client service and operational knowledge are a crucial contribution to the families we serve each day. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two children and extended family.

About Philip A. Lett

An army “brat” as a child, Philip grew up in several parts of the world. He initially joined the financial industry in 2012 with Fidelity Investments out of Boston. Throughout the last 11 years he has continued to live in many parts of the country as his wife Amanda pursued and successfully completed her PHD in art history. Amanda recently accepted a new role as head curator of the Rockwell Museum in Corning New York, and they are excited to learn about the community and culture of the finger lakes region. Together they enjoy hiking, traveling, and being with their 2 cats Fry and Leela. Philip has a background in leadership in the financial industry and most recently was a part of a large wealth management group based out of Houston Texas.

Melisa grew up in Central New York before making her way to Minneapolis, where she earned both her bachelor’s degree and MBA from Capella University. After completing her studies, she returned to her roots and now lives in the Farmington area with her husband, daughter, and their toy poodle.

Since 2022, Melisa has been a Client Service Associate at Morgan Stanley, joining The Pipa Tagliarino Group in 2025.
