Our Client-Focused Practice

Years ago, when we made the decision to become financial advisors, we gave a lot of thought to the types of individuals and families we wanted to help. We asked ourselves what were our strengths and skills, and who would best be served by our experience, perspectives and values.

While each client has a unique set of goals and circumstances, they collectively have one thing in common: They want to secure their financial future and pursue their personal ambitions.

As you work with us, we are confident you will find the solutions we recommend are carefully coordinated to provide the knowledge and insights needed to help succeed in today’s fast-paced world. We are skilled at working closely with your other wealth professionals – such as your CPA, estate and/or business attorney and insurance professionals – and can recommend qualified local professionals should you need access to one.
Over the years, we built a dynamic practice that consists of a broad range of clients:
  • Highly successful individuals
  • Families spanning multiple generations
  • Retirees and individuals planning for retirement
  • Business owners and corporate executives with concentrated wealth
  • Widows and Widowers seeking guidance for themselves and their families

  • The transition to retirement

  • A divorce or loss of a loved one
  • Caring for an ill parent/family member
  • A large inheritance
  • Save effectively so children can attend the colleges of their choice
  • Plan for retirement
  • Finance a major acquisition or strengthen a business
  • Diversify highly concentrated positions
  • Tax efficient investment strategies
  • Transfer wealth across generations
  • Create a legacy plan to help preserve family harmony as well as assets
  • Help achieve philanthropic goals

Our Core Values

We are committed to the following core values we believe differentiate us from other advisory teams and serve as the foundation of our practice.
Caring Relationships
We build longstanding relationships, based on trust and integrity. We do this by working with a select group of individuals, families and business leaders who value our depth of knowledge and experience in providing comprehensive solutions that go well beyond investments. The bond we form with each client is fundamental to our mission, and it is our hope that it spans generations.
Knowledge and Experience
Our leadership team includes three Certified Financial PlannersTM, a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy®, and two Chartered Retirement Plans Specialists®. David and Richard also earned their Certified Public Accountant designations prior to joining Morgan Stanley (they are currently non-practicing accountants at Morgan Stanley). This concentration of education and credentials is rare in one group of advisors. We use our technical and analytical skills to research, evaluate and recommend appropriate strategies to address your particular needs and goals.
A Team Approach
The diversity of our background and experience enables us to deliver fresh ideas for today’s complex world. We believe it is important to collaborate with your accountant, attorney and other specialists to build a comprehensive and cohesive plan that encompasses all aspects of your life. We are very comfortable serving as the lead advisor, helping ensure all the professionals you’ve hired are working together – and in tandem – to address your priorities.
Tailored Service
We recognize every client is different. Some require in-depth explanations of investment concepts, while others understand those concepts thoroughly and prefer advisors with whom they can formulate strategies. We are committed to helping you achieve your goals in a manner that aligns with your expectations of a concierge experience.

Commitment to Community

At The North Atlantic Group, we are a closely-knit team of seasoned professionals. We value loyalty to each other and to the individuals, families and organizations we serve every day. We have deep roots in our community and a deeper commitment to sustaining its character for future generations.

Through a variety of collaborative efforts, we are highly engaged in helping create a better and brighter future.
