      About Me

      John Hendricks – Financial Advisor - graduated from Monmouth University (West Long Branch, NJ) in 1991 with a degree in Mathematics.  From 1993 to 2011 John worked for Bank of America/Merrill Lynch in New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and New Jersey.  Prior to joining The Mohawk Valley Group at Morgan Stanley, John held positions as a Financial Advisor, Private Banker and Regional Manager.  John is active in his community of Clifton Park and enjoys coaching his children and competes in endurance events such as triathlons and marathons.  John is Series 7, Series 63 and Series 65 registered and is also Life, Accident and Health Insurance licensed.

      About Me

      Sam Zimmerman – Financial Advisor - graduated from Siena College (Loudonville, NY) in 2002 majoring in Accounting and Mathematics.  Sam worked for KPMG, LLP in their Albany, NY office as an auditor from 2002 to 2006 and earned his CPA license during that period, however, does not perform this function at Morgan Stanley.  He then enrolled at Union Graduate College (Schenectady, NY) earning a Master of Arts in Teaching degree, and taught mathematics at Gloversville Middle School for two years.  He joined his father and The Mohawk Valley Group in August 2009.  Sam is involved in many community activities and organizations in the Mohawk Valley, including the Church of the Holy Spirit in Gloversville, NY.  He is Series 7 and Series 66 registered, and is also Life, Accident, and Health Insurance licensed.

      About Me

      Jeffrey Hollander – Financial Advisor - graduated from SUNY Albany (Albany, NY) in 1977 and earned an MBA in 1981 from Hofstra University (Hempstead, NY) in Banking, Investments, and Finance.  He began his brokerage career with our firm in 1983.  From 2000 to 2004, he was Assistant Branch Manager / Sales Manager in Purchase, NY.  From 2004 to 2008, Jeff managed the Smith Barney, Roseland, NJ office.  He then relocated back to the Capital District in May, 2008 as the manager of our Niskayuna office.  Jeff continues his role as resident branch manager in addition to sharing his wealth of experience to our team and our clients' financial lives.  He is Series 3, Series 7, Series 63, and Series 65 registered, and is also Life, Accident, and Health insurance licensed.
