About Donald Marano

Don is a Vice President, Senior Portfolio Manager and founding partner of The Marano Group at Morgan Stanley. For more than 35 years, he has enjoyed working with professionals, business leaders, and generational families with a higher level of wealth, providing personalized advice through a disciplined wealth management process. Don’s areas of focus include portfolio management, alternatives investments, and insurance strategies. His comprehensive approach includes a holistic financial plan, a diversified investment portfolio, and a commitment to outstanding service.

A native of Pennsylvania, Don grew up in Northampton and currently lives in Bushkill, Township. He earned his B.S. degree in Office Administration from Bloomsburg University and began his career in financial services at Capital Analysts, Inc. Over the years, Don has worked at both large and small firms, including PNC Brokerage, Wachovia Securities, and Fulton Financial Advisors. In 2008, he teamed up with his brother, Frank, to leverage each other’s areas of strengths and provide clients with a more comprehensive wealth management experience. They formed The Marano Group and five years later moved their practice to Morgan Stanley.

Over the years, Don has built a successful practice that enables him to help clients solve complex problems and manage their total financial picture. It is extremely rewarding for Don to see the impact a comprehensive strategy can have on his clients’ lives as he helps them make their goals a reality. It gives him great satisfaction knowing he is contributing to a more comfortable and confident financial lifestyle.

About Frank R Marano

Frank is a Vice President, Senior Portfolio Manager and founding partner of The Marano Group at Morgan Stanley. He has been providing financial advice to professionals, business owners and their families in the Philadelphia metropolitan and around the country for 35 years. His extensive experience in the financial industry – coupled with his ability to decipher complex financial matters – enables him to help clients understand the intricate details of their wealth, while guiding them towards the achievement of their personal and professional goals.

Born in Brooklyn, Frank grew up on Long Island with his brother, Don, before moving to Northampton, PA in high school. After graduating from Kutztown University in 1984 with a B.A. degree in Business Administration, he began his long and rewarding career in the financial services industry. He earned his Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®) designation while working at Capital Analysts. In 2008, he teamed up with Don to create a formal partnership, leveraging each other’s areas of concentration and providing their clients with a more comprehensive wealth management experience. In 2013, they joined Morgan Stanley and have been integral members of the firm ever since.

An industry veteran, Frank is continually looking for new ways to exceed his clients’ expectations. He is knowledgeable about the many traditional and alternative investments now available in the marketplace and how to best utilize them for the benefit of each client. In addition, Frank has access to the broad array of leading-edge resources at Morgan Stanley and has nurtured relationships with many professionals in the community – including estate planning attorneys and tax professionals – to optimize his ability to serve the needs of his clients and their families.
Frank and his wife, Carol, enjoy living in historic Easton, PA. They have been married for 35 years and have two grown sons with families of their own. About Michael Wolf

Michael is an Economics graduate from Penn State University. He has completed the required education to become a Financial Planning Specialist. He holds five FINRA licenses, the Series 6, 7, 26, 63, & 65, as well as his life and health insurance licenses through the state of Pennsylvania. He has ten years of total experience in financial services, five of which, have been with The Marano Group at Morgan Stanley.

When meeting with prospective clients, Michael simply prepares by bringing a pen, a legal pad, and a cup of coffee. He prefers to treat each person as a blank slate, as he strives to deeply understand their personal and financial goals. Together with his colleagues, he will make every attempt to garner the trust and confidence of your entire household, as he strives to guide them towards financial independence.

Michael’s ultimate goal in working with his clients is to help them see through the constant financial noise and become laser-focused on the tried-and-true methods of growing and preserving wealth. He accomplishes this by making education a key component of his practice. Over time, he desires that his clients come to understand the true nature of the capital markets, so they are not easily swayed by financial propaganda. Many of these complex topics can only be ironed out through a careful, customized, and personal conversation, rather than a blanket formula.

Originally from Reading, PA, Michael now lives in Palmerton with his wife, Hailey, and young daughter, Amelia. Outside of the office, he enjoys hunting, fishing, attending baseball games, and reading about finance and theology. Michael is also heavily involved in his church in Schnecksville, as he has served as both a deacon and an usher.
