Our Story and Services

When you shop for fine clothing, you can buy something off the rack or have it custom made. The same concept holds true regarding financial services. You can either receive a financial plan and investments that are “off the shelf” or you can have a comprehensive financial plan and prudent investments expressly tailored to your unique needs.

When you entrust your wealth with the Kitzman Group, you receive a custom experience every step throughout your relationship with us. The Kitzman Group is founded on the belief that no two investors are alike and that all investors deserve the highest level of custom personal service and support in pursuing financial independence.

The story of the Kitzman Group begins with senior member Charley Kitzman. With more than three decades of experience in financial services, Charley focuses virtually all of his time on meticulously researching securities, closely tracking the markets and carefully managing each client’s portfolio.

For 25 years, Charley handled all the responsibilities associated with client portfolios, from planning to relationship management. In 2016, Andrea Smith teamed with Charley to create financial plans and handle relationship management. In 2019, Michael Moore joined the Group to assist Charley and Andrea.

About Andrea Smith

Andrea serves a diverse group of investors, most notably high-net-worth individuals, business owners and professionals. Many of her clients include pre-retirees and retirees. Andrea’s caring spirit shows early in a relationship. When creating financial plans, she does more than collect vital facts; she gets to know her clients on a deeply personal level, which often results in the identification of needs they didn’t even know they had.

“I look at investors as more than clients,” she says. “I want them to feel I am extension of their family. I want to give them the greater confidence they deserve.

To that end, Andrea encourages her clients to ask questions and contact her as often as needed. She believes the more comfortable investors are with her, the more confident they will be adhering to her carefully created long-term plan through all market and economic environments -- and the more their relationship will grow.

A Texas native, Andrea holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Houston. She is a strong believer in giving back to the community. Currently, she tutors adults who need assistance in improving their literacy and becoming self- sufficient.

She loves spending time with her daughter and her family. When time permits, she enjoys traveling, playing tennis and attending sporting events.
