About Bryan K. Longpre

Beginning in 2006, Bryan worked his way up from an intern to Executive Director today and joined Morgan Stanley’s Elite Pacesetter’s Club in 2018. In 2020, Bryan was named to Investment News “40 Under 40 in Wealth Management,” and Forbes “Top Next Gen Advisors.”

Born and raised in locally La Crescenta, CA, he graduated cum laude in Finance from Cal State Northridge, while concurrently competing on CSUN’s Division 1 Baseball team. Bryan later signed a Professional Baseball contract with the Toronto Blue Jays where he went on to play 3 seasons before suffering a season-ending elbow injury. After retiring from processional baseball, Bryan earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern California with a focus on Finance and Sustainability, while dually completing a graduate certification program in Corporate Sustainability at Harvard University.

An avid volunteer, Bryan currently serves as President of the non-profit Ascencia to address the needs of the homeless, the One for One Foundation that provides microloans to disadvantaged areas, and the Professional Baseball Players Association. Bryan currently lives in Glendale with his wife Baylie, 8-year-old twin boys, Jack and Dean and their puppy Bentley.

About Christina Smith

Christina joined Morgan Stanley in 2004, formerly Smith Barney, and The Jewel City Group in 2006, formerly The Stone Beck Group. Her versatility and tenacity have been an asset to the team throughout her career. Over the years, she has worn many hats. With her breadth of experience, she expanded her role in 2020 by transitioning to a Financial Advisor. Prior to her career at Morgan Stanley, she worked for a predecessor firm from 2001- 2003. Her early work experience has been in finance, banking, and accounting.

She understands the value and peace of mind a financial advisor can provide to clients and is excited to further develop her relationships in this capacity. Passionate about helping others, Chris has been a steadfast asset to The Jewel City Group since 2006 and counts it a privilege and an honor to work with our clients. She shares, “It is truly a deeper relationship than being just a client. It becomes more so like family and very personal to me. I truly cherish the close bond that develops over the years to form a more personal connection.”

Christina grew up in nearby San Fernando Valley. She graduated from Alemany High School, followed by college at Coastal Carolina Community College in Jacksonville, NC when her husband was stationed at Camp Lejuene. To root and raise their family, and be close by immediate family members, they moved back to their native California. In her spare time, Christina likes to golf, fish, cook to try out new recipes, read, go to the movies, attend concerts and sporting events, garden, and walk. When not out and about, she frequently hosts family get togethers, birthdays, summer BBQ’s, Super Bowl parties, etc. to spend time with friends and family. She currently resides in Castaic, CA with her husband, Jay, and sons, Matthew and Joshua, and her loveable boxer, Stella.

About Lauren Francis

Lauren brings 10+ years of experience in the financial services industry with a focus on client service, financial planning and business development. She spent most of her career in an operational/support role which taught her invaluable skills. However in early 2023, she decided to expand her role and become a Financial Advisor. She is passionate about, and finds great fulfillment in, connecting with clients and guiding them towards achieving their financial goals.

Lauren joined Morgan Stanley in 2015 after spending four years with Raymond James & Associates in Coral Gables, Florida. Lauren is FINRA licensed Series 7 & Series 66, Insurance Licensed and has the Morgan Stanley Financial Planning Specialist designation.

Born and raised in Northern California, Lauren opted for a change of scenery and relocated to South Florida for college to pursue a degree in business management & marketing from the University of Miami, go Canes! An avid swimmer and runner, she swam competitively for 10 years and has completed six half marathons. Lauren now resides in the South Bay with her husband Brandon and their two (soon to be three in October 2023) children. They love to spend their evenings by the ocean or riding bikes along the beach strand. Lauren and Brandon are both passionate about showing their children different parts of the country (and the world when they are older) and teaching them about different cultures and traditions. Aside from being at the beach and traveling, one of Lauren’s favorite activities is escape rooms. If you haven’t tried one, she highly recommends it!

After interning with The Stone-Beck Group in the Summer of 2016, Jacob has become a full-time member of the team. As a recent graduate from Arizona State University, Jacob brings an eagerness to learn and to help our clients.

As Toni’s youngest son, Jacob was born and raised in La Crescenta and has grown up knowing many of our current clients. With his lifelong connection to The Stone-Beck Group, Jacob looks forward to the road ahead and his role in supporting our clients.

About Mamie Lai

Mamie Lai has 8 years of experience in the financial services industry and is Series 7 and Series 66 licensed. She is a native of Los Angeles, and a graduate of Occidental College. Residing in San Gabriel Valley, Mamie and her husband have three grown children. Playing Scrabble, cooking, baking, reading, and spending time with family are at the top of her list of favorite pastimes.

About Kaira Haynes

Kaira brings 22 years of experience in the financial services industry with a focus on client service. Kaira joined Morgan Stanley in 1999 as the receptionist at the Pasadena office for a year then transitioned to the New Accounts Clerk position for three years three before moving onto the Client Service role.

Kaira is a native to Los Angeles, residing in the San Gabriel Valley. Kaira has three grown children, two sons and a daughter. Kaira spends her free time backpacking, hiking, travelling, and camping.
