Integration of Tactical Asset Allocation

The CFP® PROFESSIONAL

Individuals certified by the CFP® board have taken the extra step to demonstrate commitment and professionalism by voluntarily submitting to the rigorous CFP® certification process that includes demanding education, examination, experience, and ethical requirements. These four cornerstones set the foundation for the CFP® professional's ability in helping clients achieve their goals. CFP® professional's diverse skillsets can help clients navigate the complicated financial factors in their life. See below for more information about the CFP® designation and how we can help:
Education
The CFP® professional must develop theoretical and practical financial planning knowledge by completing 2 to 3 years of comprehensive coursework at an institution of higher learning approved by the CFP® Board. Once obtaining the CFP® trademark, their education does not stop, as continued education is part of the recertification process.
Examination
The CFP® professional must pass the 7 hour comprehensive Certification Exam, which tests abilities to apply financial planning knowledge to real-life situations. The exam covers the financial planning process, tax planning, employee benefits, retirement planning, estate planning, Investment management and insurance.
Experience
All CFP® professionals are required to complete several years of experience related to financial planning services prior to earning the right to use the CFP® trademarks.
Ethics
The CFP® professionals is obligated to uphold the principles of integrity, objectivity, competence, fairness, confidentiality, professionalism, and diligence as outline in the CFP® Board's Code of Ethics. The Rules of conduct require the CFP® professional to put their client's interest first above all else.

Meet The Hyde Group

About Darrell Hyde

A seasoned financial services professional since 1987, Darrell begin his career with Morgan Keegan in Palm Beach Fl. In 1988, Darrell made the decision to come to Morgan Stanley of Mobile, Al. to take advantage of the breadth of resources available to his clients. His areas of focus include Investment Management (Consulting),
and retirement planning.

Prior to his career in the financial services industry, Darrell was an auditor in the Big 4 accounting firm of Ernst & Young (EY). Darrell graduated from the University of Mississippi where he earned a Bachelor of Accountancy and Masters of Accountancy degrees. Over the years Darrell has been active in the community volunteering with the United Way in various positions. Also he has worked with the local toastmasters clubs and with the Dale Carnegie programs.

He and his wife Janet have raised one daughter and two sons where Darrell was involved in helping coach their baseball teams.

About Matthew Hyde

Matthew grew up in Mobile, Alabama. Prior to his career at Morgan Stanley, he attended and graduated from Texas Tech University. After he began working in the powersports industry where he managed a Parts and Accessories Department. Matthew and his father Darrell joined forces to establish The Hyde Group in 2022. He has earned his Series 7, Series 66, and life insurance licenses in addition to his Financial Planning Specialist designation.

Matthew brings fresh and unique perspectives by staying current with market trends as a younger member of the practice. He understands the financial challenges of younger generations and can relate to their goals and needs. Matthew is skilled in building a bridge between the underserved young professional market and the financial advising world.

While not in the office, you can find Matthew at the gym, golf course, scuba diving or in the mountains snow skiing.
