Our Mission Statement
Earning the trust of business leaders with thoughtful advice and solutions for acquiring, growing and protecting their business and personal wealth.
Our Story and Services
If you lead a successful business, you face two distinct yet intertwined types of financial decisions – professional and personal. Our team has the knowledge, experience and resources to help you with both.
We work primarily with business owners and senior executives, providing a full suite of solutions for your personal wealth – everything from investments (including a robust platform of Environmental, Social and Corporate governance-focused equities) to philanthropy and everything in between. In addition, we offer thoughtful advice and a trusted voice for decisions that affect your business – questions around debt, succession planning, acquisitions and much more. When appropriate, we leverage the vast resources of Morgan Stanley to get you the information and professional expertise that can help you make intelligent financial decisions.
All of which adds up to helping you with every financial concern, so you can focus on what matters most to you. Our clients think of us as their personal CFO, and that’s very much how we function – we do the research, sort through your options and present you with a recommendation, simplifying your life and helping you feel confident about the future of both your business and your personal life.

The Specific Concerns of business leaders
Every successful person faces a variety of issues regarding wealth management.
In our experience, business leaders rely on a cadre of trusted executives and advisors to help them grapple with financial issues. We try to replicate that process with our clients – functioning as their personal CFO to do the legwork and make intelligent recommendations.
We also relate personally to the needs of business leaders, because we ARE also business owners. Our practice is run by our team. Team members have also started, managed and sold their own businesses. And thanks to our long experience assisting business leaders, we understand your short- and long-term concerns, and look for ways to both enhance your wealth and simplify your life.

What you can expect from The Hall Group
Our Process
- Step 1: Discovery. We work with you to understand you, your family and your goals, reviewing assets, liabilities, risk exposure and preferences.
- Step 2: Wealth Management Strategy. Working with your tax and/or legal advisors, we analyze your current position, and create an overall wealth strategy.
- Step 3: Strategic Asset Allocation. We recommend a custom asset allocation strategy that integrates your goals and preferences with risk, opportunity and tax circumstances.
- Step 4: Tactical Asset Allocation. We look for short-term adjustments for exploiting temporary market distortions.
- Step 5: Implementation. After running various market simulations, we implement your plan.
- Step 6: Ongoing Assessment. Change is inevitable. We regularly analyze your progress and recommend adjustment as needed.
Our strategic “pillars”
- Start with a goal to mitigate risk. Successful people don’t need us to make them rich – they need us to ensure their goals are met. With clearly articulated goals, our recommendations can help minimize risk.
- Everyone needs a personal CFO. Every financial decision affects every other one. World events can impact personal finances. We gather data, review options and make recommendations in context.
- Wealth management is generational. You have children and grandchildren, philanthropic and legacy concerns. We can create a generational strategy.
- Business and personal concerns DO mix. Because so many of our clients own or run businesses (or professional practices), we leverage our experience to integrate your personal and professional lives.
- How you invest makes a difference. Increasingly, our clients are focused on socially responsible investing. Our ESG platform is robust and carefully curated.

A Strategic Partnership is an arrangement between a Financial Advisor or a team of Financial Advisors with another Financial Advisor or team of Financial Advisors that has a unique focus or knowledge regarding a specific business concentration, product area, and/or client type. Diversification does not guarantee a profit or protect against loss in a declining financial market.

8The returns on a portfolio consisting primarily of Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”) aware investments may be lower or higher than a portfolio that is more diversified or where decisions are based solely on investment considerations. Because ESG criteria exclude some investments, investors may not be able to take advantage of the same opportunities or market trends as investors that do not use such criteria. Diversification does not guarantee a profit or protect against loss in a declining financial market.
