The Guardian Group is a wealth management and financial advisory team dedicated to helping individuals, multi-generational families, business owners and institutions work toward their financial goals. We assist clients in pursuing diverse financial goals such as capital growth, current income, wealth preservation, and legacy planning, tailoring personalized financial plans as roadmaps to success. Most clients aim for these goals collectively or individually at various stages of their lives.

Since the merger of the Morris and Guardian Groups in 2021, the formalized team has significantly expanded their scope and reach adding to the success of the team. The combination created a nine-member team of seasoned professionals and support professionals with expertise in all facets of wealth management. The Guardian Group's expertise covers all aspects of wealth management, including equities, fixed-income (with a focus on tax-free income), and alternative investments such as insurance strategies, structured investments, banking and lending. Our commitment to integrity ensures access to the full suite of services offered by Morgan Stanley.

About Keith Morris

About Keith Morris
Keith Morris earned his Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo and holds multiple certifications, licenses, and designations as a Managing Director of The Guardian Group at Morgan Stanley. Their full-service team maximizes the use of the Firm’s abundant resources to add additional value to their clients’ portfolios, preserve their wealth, and potentially grow it. Through his vast experience in navigating market cycles, Keith has developed an investment approach to wealth management that is individualized for each client.

Clients of The Guardian Group receive preferential access to cash management and lending solutions including exposures to equities, fixed income vehicles (particularly tax-free investments), insurance strategies, and other structured products. Peter Barash is a Private Banker serving Morgan Stanley Wealth Management offices in California.

Peter began his career in financial services in 1984, and joined Morgan Stanley in 2010 as a Private Banker. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Private Banking Specialist at U.S. Bank.
