    Four-step wealth management plan.



    1.) Discovery: Help you assess your current financial situation. Discuss your financial goals and objectives. Talk about goals for your family and your lasting legacy. Help define your investment time frame and level of risk.



    2.) Strategy Formulation: Help create a customized investment strategy based on your specific needs and risk tolerance. Provide portfolio design, goal-oriented asset allocation and solutions for income needs. Develop step-by-step financial plans, education plans and charitable giving plans. Use the financial planning process to assess your retirement needs, college savings, charitable giving, etc. Advise on company sponsored plans: 401k, stock options/grants and deferred compensation. Study cash flow and liability requirements. Seek to develop strategies to help minimize tax liabilities.



    3.) Implementation: Provide a step-by-step investment implementation plan. Integrate your equity compensation and other employer benefits into your investment strategy. Offer consultation with your attorneys and tax advisors to ensure a unified plan moving forward.



    4.) Monitor and Review: Continually assess investment allocation to determine if adjustments are needed. Conduct formal reviews throughout the year to monitor your progress. Adapt strategies based on the changing tax and regulatory environments. Adjust.

      About Me

      Michael Fleischer is a Financial Advisor, Executive Director, Financial Planning Specialist and founder of The Fleischer Group at Morgan Stanley. He concentrates on retirement income planning. Michael graduated with honors from Michigan State University and began his financial career in 1998 at Paine Webber. A year and a half later, he earned a position with Morgan Stanley, where he has remained since. With over twenty years of experience as a Financial Advisor, Michael brings a comprehensive level of experience to his position. He is passionate about helping clients—he listens to their concerns and truly cares about their financial success. As of January 1, 2018 he manages more than $350 million of clients’ hard-earned assets. Michael lives in Birmingham with his wife Tiffany and their three children.

      Stacey DeRidder is a Senior Registered Associate for Morgan Stanley. Her responsibilities include being the liaison for clients and managing all day-to-day operational needs at the Fleischer Group at Morgan Stanley.
      With over twenty-two years of experience, Stacey knows how to aid in the functioning of a top-level wealth management group. Her superior client service and interpersonal skills make her invaluable to the Morgan Stanley team. In addition, she has earned her Series 7 and 63 licenses.
      In her free time, Stacey enjoys reading and spending time with her husband Bob and two young children Hayden and Ava.

      Barb VanDerMaas is a Senior Client Service Associate for Morgan Stanley. She is responsible for handling client service operations, providing quality assistance to clients and staff, and assisting in the management of business needs. 

      Barb knows how to provide exceptional service to clients and the staff as a whole. Her years of experience and knowledge of the wealth management industry provide her with the necessary skills to build close client relationships while striving to exceed client service expectations. Barb has been a proud member of the team for over 12 years.

      In her free time, Barb enjoys traveling, cooking and spending time with her husband Hans, and their children Jessica and Connor.

      Cheri Watson is a Wealth Management Associate for Morgan Stanley. Her responsibilities include meeting and assisting clients in attaining their retirement goals. Cheri takes pride in relationships and building a strong foundation with our clients. She has more than 24 years in providing exceptional service in the financial services field. Cheri has earned her Series 6, 7, 63 and 66 licenses as well as Life Insurance, Variable Annuity and Accidental Health.

      Cheri and her family enjoy watching and playing sports, travelling and going to a variety of concerts.
