About In Memoriam - Tinder Harris

It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of our friend and associate, Tinder Harris. Tinder has been a financial advisor with The Fister Group since May of 2024, but his story with our team goes back much further.  He and Walter Fister (Morgan and Justin’s father) began working together in 1979 at Prudential-Bache Securities. Tinder, Walter, and several other friends left Prudential together to start E.F. Hutton in Lexington. Over time,  E.F. Hutton went through several name changes, eventually becoming Smith Barney and later Morgan Stanley. In 1995, Tinder joined UBS, where he worked until returning to Morgan Stanley in 2024 with his dear friend and colleague of 20 years, Anne Oliver.

Tinder’s clients were truly his friends. This was clear in the trust they placed in him and in the devotion, integrity, and relationships he built with them over the years. His steady advice, demeanor, and friendship will be missed.

After his diagnosis, one of Tinder’s main concerns was ensuring the care of his clients. Joining The Fister Group was a decision made with the confidence that his wishes would be fulfilled.

During this difficult time, our thoughts are with Tinder’s family and loved ones. Please know that we remain fully committed to supporting you and ensuring that all your needs continue to be met, as Tinder wished.
