Meet The Evergreen Harbor Group

About Rick R Larson

Rick started his financial advisory career with Merrill Lynch in 1997 and was recruited to join Morgan Stanley in 2001. He formed the Evergreen Harbor Group at Morgan Stanley shortly thereafter.

Rick works with affluent families and individuals and focuses his wealth management knowledge and experience in financial planning, asset allocation strategies and portfolio management. Prior to his financial advisory career, he worked in his family’s trucking and warehousing business in Tacoma with responsibilities in sales, finance, and facilities management.

Rick graduated from Washington State University in 1988 where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance, Economics and Accounting. He holds a Series 63, Series 67, Series 7 for General Securities, Series 31 for Managed Futures, and Series 66 for the Uniform Securities Agent State Law Exam and the Investment Advisory Agent, along with Life Insurance and Long-Term Care insurance licenses. He has also been named a Senior Portfolio Management Director and is a part of the Morgan Stanley Century Club.

As a financial advisor, Rick combines three things that he enjoys in a professional and personal setting: Helping others, Capital Markets & Economics, and Planning/Implementing Activities. He enjoys learning about his clients and how the team's experience and platform can assist in helping them meet their goals or stated objectives. Over time, through building client relationships, he believes his team can offer more solutions as situations change or present themselves.

Rick also enjoys snow skiing, fitness, boating, fishing, tennis and travelling. He also enjoys volunteering and supporting philanthropic organizations such as the YMCA, Salvation Army, Kiwanis Club of Tacoma, Hope on the Slopes, WSU Alumni Association, HopeSparks Family Services, and the Alpha Tau Omega Alumni Association. He currently resides in Gig Harbor with his wife Hillaree.

4An investment in an exchange-traded fund (ETF) involves risks similar to those of investing in a broadly based portfolio of equity securities traded on exchange in the relevant securities market, such as market fluctuations caused by such factors as economic and political developments, changes in interest rates and perceived trends in stock prices. The investment return and principal value of ETF investments will fluctuate, so that an investor’s ETF shares, if or when sold, may be worth more or less than the original cost.

Investors should carefully consider the investment objectives, risks, charges and expenses of an exchange-traded fund (ETF) before investing. The prospectus contains this and other information about the ETF. To obtain a prospectus, contact your Financial Advisor or visit the ETF company’s website. Please read the prospectus carefully before investing.
