About Patrick B. Shook, MBA
Patrick is an Executive Director, Senior Portfolio Management Director and founding partner of The Endeavor Group at Morgan Stanley. After earning his B.S. and MBA at Washington State, Patrick began his financial services career as a Credit Manager at Norwest Financial Corp. After 9 years as a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch, Patrick and some key colleagues moved to Morgan Stanley in 2008 with the collective vision to “endeavor,” which is the foundation of their team and team name.
Patrick has enjoyed building longstanding relationships with his clients and colleagues for more than 25 years. His process is goals-based, which includes a commitment to ongoing education and outstanding service. He provides his many clients with cash flow modeling, risk management analytics, and legacy planning. Patrick is also responsible for the team’s strategic vision and investment portfolios.
From the time he began balancing his own savings account at 8 years old, Patrick was hooked on anything related to personal finance. He later witnessed his family struggle with financial hardships that prompted difficult decisions and personal sacrifices – all without the assistance of a professional advisor. This experience solidified his decision to pursue a career that would give him the knowledge, skills and ability to provide proper guidance to those without the experience or inclination to do so on their own. Throughout his career, Patrick has remained committed to professional and educational development, earning a variety of designations and titles.
Originally from the “crossroads” area of Bellevue, WA, Patrick and his wife, Melissa, currently live in Edmonds with their three sons, Tyler, Dylan, and Jake. Patrick remains active in their community by participating in the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce and coaching his sons’ soccer and baseball teams, which he has done for the past 13 years. An avid boater and certified master scuba diver, Patrick and his family enjoy exploring new and scenic fishing locations. He also loves to garden and enjoys working on various landscaping and yard maintenance projects.

Ann serves as The Endeavor Group at Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management Associate. Her favorite, and luckily primary, part of her job is cultivating client relationships. Ann has dedicated her career to serving client needs. After earning her BS from Cornell’s Hotel School, she worked in hospitality for over a decade until she was recruited to financial services in 1996.
She had always been interested in finance and the offer was timely, so she happily accepted and has remained in the industry ever since. She says it was one of the best decisions she ever made. Ann joined Morgan Stanley in 2017 and The Endeavor Group at Morgan Stanley in 2019. She proactively helps clients understand the products and services that the team and the firm have to offer.
