As financial planners, we know that every client is different; therefore, we customize our financial strategies and solutions to meet the needs of each individual client.  We are in the relationship building business and have worked to become an integral part in each of our clients’ lives seeking to earn our clients’ trust and respect.  Additionally, we take a 360 degree approach to developing a financial plan that incorporates every aspect of our client’s financial life, such as planning for rising healthcare costs in retirement, maximizing social security benefits, and estate transferring strategies.     More importantly, we take the work we do for our clients personally because we understand the responsibility that we have to our clients and their families; that is, to act in their best interest at all times.  Our clients are our friends and considered part of our family; as a result, we will go the extra mile for them.  Sometimes that means traveling 11 hours over the Thanksgiving holiday to be with a client’s family at a funeral.  The work we do on behalf of our clients is our passion and what drives us to be the best.  Ultimately, when we work with our clients they become part of our extended family; in turn, we continually seek to become a valuable trusted counselor to their families.  We hope to extend to you and your family the same personalized service, so please reach out to us today.

About Me

Mark has a wealth of experience having worked in the financial services industry as a Financial Advisor since 1981.  In an effort to provide holistic financial planning to his clients, Mark sought out and obtained the professional designation of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner.  Mark works with his clients to build a foundation of trust based on integrity and a commitment to service that, along with the vast resources of Morgan Stanley, will help serve the needs of present and future generations.

One of the most rewarding aspects of Mark’s work has been serving as a primary family advisor to his clients throughout the years and making a positive impact in their families’ well-being.  In fact, his work with families led him to bring John, his nephew, into his financial planning practice.  

Born and raised in the small farming town of Marshall in Southwest Minnesota, Mark attended Southwest State University and the University of Las Vegas, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.  He later migrated to Dallas, Texas, where he has lived since 1990.  Mark is a member of the United States Army Reserve Association Officer.  When not in the office, he enjoys travel, skiing, theater, opera, music, dance and history.

About Me

A Financial Advisor with Morgan Stanley since 2007, John brings a disciplined approach to guiding his clients decisions about retirement planning.  Often times John helps his clients make tough financial decisions like reducing unnecessary spending and sticking to a budget; no matter the situation, John’s strives to provide candid advice even when it may not be what they want to hear.  As someone who is genuine in the way he works with clients, holding their hands through every life event that comes their way, it was important that he partner with a team who he could undoubtedly trust to do the right thing for clients.  John knew he found the right team, comprised of extremely caring individuals, when he came to Dallas to work with Mark Doom and Lori Doyle. His strong analytical skills and financial planning knowledge were a nice addition to the team’s capabilities.

As a Senior Portfolio Manager with the distinguished Certified Financial Planner professional designation, John takes pride in developing for clients comprehensive financial plans to help achieve their long term goals and objectives.  He derives tremendous satisfaction from building relationships with these clients as he takes them through the process of planning for a secure future.  Investment analysis, asset management, insurance and financial planning are his primary areas of concentration.
